I was contacted by Kathy Jacobs in regards to advertising my practice. We went back and forth missing each other with scheduling and missing each others calls. I scheduled for Kathy Jacobs to come in for a meeting on Thursday/ October 7 @ 9:30am. Kathy Jacobs confirmed our appointment via call the day prior. Which was in fact confirmed and Kathy stated she needs that confirmation because she has to wake up early and take a Tramadol before she leaves so she has to organize her time. I did not think much of this other than she is open to strangers about her personal issues.
The following day- the day of our appointment I walked into my practice at 7am and I had an issue pop up that I needed to handle therefore all of my meetings for the day had to be rescheduled.
I called Kathy Jacobs immediately and left her a message about a financial issue that arose and that I will call her back in the future to work with her.
Within 10 minutes I receive a phone call with her reprimanding me stating that first of all I am really pissed off and I told you I wake up early to meet clients and if I do I need to schedule a time to take my Tramadol pill.!
I said I am sorry for canceling but I need to reschedule. She then started cursing at me saying I am rude and my response was I do not need to be reprimanded and I apologized and I said good day and hung up.
Kathy Jacobs then calls my cell phone at 8:13 am and leaves a 44 second voicemail which I did contact the Lighthouse Point police SGT. Hancock who is a close friend of mine and reported this incident to as well as send voicemail to the Sgt. Hancock for threatening my practice.

Listen [censored] you know i already had some clients ready to come over to your office you dont know how many people i know in this area and i live in lighthouse point you are the rudest piece of [censored] that i have ever talked to in my life and you have the unmitigated gal to hang up on me i hope you go [censored] yourself i hope the devil takes over this office and im going to spread the word about what kind of place it is so you have a great lovely day [censored].
This woman has a rage problem and should be put away for a few months and not be around society.
Desired outcome: Anger management / if harassment continues I am filing with my attorney-to never contact myself, or anyone in my practice again.
This is November 11, 2022… I have just read the above complaint about Kathy Jacobs and Phoenix Advertising Publishing. I do have the same situation with this individual. I inquired about advertising and it was back-and-forth on the phone , missing phone calls. She is a very rude person and has a very short temper. She was yelling at me on the phone when I was inquiring about the contract that she wrote up for advertising. Telling me I don’t know how to read making slanderous comments about my Business Intellect. She then said I’m canceling the contract andhung up on me. I proceeded to call her back and then she finally answered and threatened to call the police on me. I wanted to see where her business office was located. She does not have a business address but a mailbox inside a family packing business on E. Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach FL. I am very unhappy with her unprofessional behavior as well as blockbusting my advertising in that particular area with that magazine. I am looking into legal advice.
