not receiving magazines & how many months payment needed to start receiving magazines
At the end of a survey, I had the opportunity to sign up for receiving six magazines for so
many dollars per month. They also said they would send 6 e-gift cards. I did receive them in an email. The codes were sent separately. Unfortunately for me, the e-gift cards are for specified companies I don't shop at because they don't have products I want. What was not explained at the beginning that one had to pay about 3 months worth of payments before magazines would start arriving. I paid the initial fee expecting magazines to arrive. None did, so I didn't pay. Instead of this company contacting me, they send my account to collections. I called and explained I never used the e-gift cards so they could pay themselves with that. The person refused that option. I never received magazines, I didn't use e-gift cards, yet I was expected to pay, before account was closed. I was given an offer to pay half, I didn't want to risk any problems, so I paid it. It was wasted money.
Company will not let us cancel our subscription!!!
We signed up for magazines from this company. We were NOT informed of their cancellation policy. When we tried to cancel, they told us that we could not cancel because it was too late. Now we are trying to cancel the credit card that was used, and contacting the company to implore them to let us cancel. Their practices are FRAUDULENT and DECEPTIVE!
I too have been having problems with this company. I talked to someone who told me I could pay $59.00 for three months and then I could have the subscription cancelled. I continue to receive calls from them stating that they are calling because another company is trying to use there name fraudulently but that I still have the subscription but only at a lower price of $24.50 so I have continued to tell them that I do not want the subscription and they need to cancel it and they said they couldn't so I will be cancelling my Visa Card and receiving a new number to at least stop them from taking anymore payments out.
I was contacted by this corporation as well. Received their so-called contract, submitted the cancellation within the timeframe specified and they are telling me I am too late. Threatening now to send to a collection agency to collect over $800 if I do not pay the past due. What past due if I cancelled the contract within the timeframe as so stated on their own contract. A magazine subscription! Company indicated they did not receive anything and I owe the money for a subscription of magazines I do not want nor ever would purchase. What steps are you taking to rectify your complaint with this company who is obviously predatory by nature? Planning to file a consumer complaint.
They will not cancel a subscription that I did not agree to.
I received a phone call about a magazine which sounded great but I was told I had 10 days to cancel if I decided I didn't want it. Well they were literally unreachable and I called every day after that and once the 10 days had passed I continued to call and then they said it was too late to cancel. I have received no magazines and they wont return my phone calls. This company is a scam
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have called multiple times asking to cancel
All the Magazines being sent. They told me I couldn't cancel & still charge me $39.95 a month. Today I get a call asking if I still want them. NO I DO NOT WANT TO KEEP RECEIVING THIS SERVICE! DONOT WANT TO RE-NEW OR
KEEP RECEIVING THESE MAGAZINES!
