Auto Wholesalers Of Hooksett Unethical used car sales

I was a satisfied customer... Until I heard “metal on metal!”

In december 2016 I bought a car from auto wholesalers in hooksett. I had a pleasant buying experience, and I even told the sales manager I would write a positive review of my time, which I did. So imagine my surprise only roughly two months after my purchase to discover that auto wholesalers *illegally* put a nh state inspection sticker on my purchased vehicle. How would I know?

A month after my purchase, I began hearing a noise in the right rear tire area. It kept getting louder, so about two months after my purchase, I took the vehicle to my trusted mechanic. And there it was: brakes that had worn through the brake pads and the caliper grinding against the rotor. “metal on metal” as my mechanic described it - something that doesn't happen in two months of ownership. No, this was the kind of corrosion that was already present on the vehicle when I purchased it - and the kind that would have *failed* inspection at any reputable inspection station.

What has auto wholesalers response been in the week since I have notified them of this matter? I wouldn't know, because why should they bother with a “past” customer who has already bought the goods? Why would they have anything to do with me now?

So, posting online reviews today. Then forwarding complaints to both the nh better business bureau and nh attorney general's office tomorrow.

Auto Wholesalers Of Hooksett Horrible Customer Service

Absolutely the worst dealership in New Hampshire. We bought a vehicle from these crooks and were told that the price was 9995, on the day we arrived to pick up the car it was filthy, cigarette burn holes in the front seat (that were not there when we made the deal) it smelled like someone smoked in it with the windows up all day and night. The gas tank was at empty with a red light flashing. The vehicle was supposed to get fully reconditioned (as part of our deal) and it wasn't touched. When we asked the salesman why everything was such a mess, he made up this story about them being shorthanded and we will just have to owe you? So at this point we my wife and I were so mad and asked to speak with the Manager. the manager came over with an attitude of (how dare we bother him) and said we will do a we owe, so we accept it and go to sign paper work, well NOTHING was finished being processed, so we waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes (just to sign paperwork) finally we get in and come to find out, the price increased from 9995 to 11995 (for services performed)? We were like what in the world is this? They said that the salesperson must have forgot to tell us about the inspection costs. AT that point we told them to give us our deposit back and we are leaving, the manager said sorry cant do that, the deposit is non-refundable (we were so confused) long story short we are now fighting to get our 500 back and have filed complaints with the attorney general dept. who will be opening a full investigation of this shady operation. Buyers beware, this place is nothing but a scam and will be shut down soon, STAY AWAY!

Auto Wholesalers Of Hooksett Not as good as advertized

This place has a great rating from the BBB, and the salesmen are all nice enough, but do not go here if you do not have a lot to spend. I'm sure they're great if you're looking to be financed and get something with a warranty, but they don't seem to pay attention to the cheaper stuff, say 2, 000 to 5 or 6, 000 dollars. They will throw any defective heap onto the lot, slap an arbitrary price tag on it (always well above Blue Book value), and tell you it's a great car. This happened to me, and the car I bought ended up needing $700 of work to pass inspection. I do praise them for working with me after I told them about it, because I bought the car as-is. They don't technically have to do anything for me, yet they are working with me to get something else. The problem is, it's been almost two months since I drove the first car off the lot, and I'm still waiting for the situation to be resolved. It really has been a major hassle for me. Long story short, the salesmen are the nicest I've met, and this place is great if your budget is above $6, 000, but I wouldn't trust them on anything lower than that.
