I work for a company in Washington that received a call from Burt & Asst trying to solicit MY business. The timing never worked out and Robert Fouse called me repeatedly trying to get me to give him accounts to collect for me. DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES AND FRAUD: Burt and Associates (www.burtcollect.com), is an explicit copy of the NRS (https://www.nrs.us/privacy.php), or NRS & Associates aka National Recovery Systems (which is rum and operated by liars, cheats and thieves such as Mark Wilson). They hire ignorant non-industry people, feed them full of lies, which the ignorant help believes. They use circle-jerk rooms with loud music to create the energy and motivation needed to motivate idiots to do their scheming work. They tell the help this is the only (non-professional) system that works. For lying, cheating and stealing, they are probably right. You could receive a voice mail saying you must contact them IMMEDIATELY, before noon that same day to resolve a case. When you call them back, they will have some personal information on you and will claim that a company is filing a nonpayment claim against you.
They will feed you some info about yourself to seem legit, but then when you ask for any official document or proof they will say that they are not at liberty to provide that. One of my biggest tip offs was how belligerent the individual on the phone became when I asked for some sort of proof or documentation.

Burt and Associates Caller harrassed my employee in shouting rage. She spoke rudely, calling me names. She even gave my employee some of my financial informaton.
Upon the return call, when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor was treated worse by him! I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

As Consumers lets get together and file a class action law suit against these idiots
My company was not the debtor, but an employee of our owed a debt and we were harassed daily by Burt and Associate demanding "employment demographics" such as date of hire and pay rate, which they said were "public information"--please!.
I have filed a complaint with the FTC for unfair debt collection practices and suggest anyone else with problems with these people do the same. These guys are slick and very forceful! They violated so many rules of the FDCPA in their conversations and emails with my company that it is amazing they are even still in business and have not been shut down by the FTC!
We are looking into legal action against them as well for the same libelous behavior. We were paying our debt as agreed with the orgininator. We asked for something in writing, and were told "were not here to be pen pals". They are calling 4 and 5 times a day, contacting neighboring businesses all over lies. Their assocoiates are rude, arrogant and can not produce a shred of evidence that will back up their claim when asked. We as business owners need get together file a class action and put these guys out of business.
