a huge scam!
Didn't ask for a repeat order. will return the product as it does no good. I have no idea how much the "company" charged me the second time as I only ordered the "free trial" THE FIRST time which was about $5 which was ordered on 5/29/2017. Did not want a second order as I didn't give the "company" permission to send it. It was definitely unauthorized. Have contacted my credit card company to let them know about this problem.
They took full price from me and no idea how to stop it
I ordered free trial of the skin products from the company Cellogica. I paid only for the package and handling and it cost me about $5. I received my order and went to the website in order to cancel my subscription. After that I didn’t think that they would charge me again for the full price. I wonder if there are people, who had the same thing. Maybe you can advise me how to stop these withdrawals. Please post your ideas and comments. Thanks.
So, I ordered free trial Celluage Night and Day cream for $5.95 shipping and handling only. Ended up being charged 3 different things : $5.98, $5.95 (my real order) and the next day $4.95 (not sure for what)
Called my bank first, the charges were still on pending, nothing can be done, but my bank offered the phone numbers where those 3 charges came from. For short, they ended up from the same company with 3 different 1-800 numbers.
I have screen shot of my order (the items, the total and the confirmation number). Nothing else shown with those 2 additional charges they put.
I called the number given for my order, since I was hoping they would find my order, corrected the other two (refund) immediately since I have the information. As I said, it turned out they are the same company with different names and phone numbers. The person who helped me sounded helpful, and said she would cancel the 2 orders, but because of the pandemic, they could not accept the product back even unopened. She was even ‘generously’ offered to extend my free trial period up to March 20th ( I was so excited but now that I think again, the order just arrived today, Feb. 26th), it is less than 30 days… I placed the order on Feb. 19th, called them on Feb. 20th.
The customer service said she would cancel and give me the cancellation numbers, and since I did not see any refund, I realized, it was cancellation for future orders, not for the Items that I DID NOT order.
SO BE IT!
But then, I saw the review, and reminded myself, the name are Not the same. They offered Celluage to me, which being used by celebrities, and we could try it for free, then they sent me CELLOGICA instead. It is definitely misleading…. I can dispute this base on the name only.
My bank informed me that I can dispute a charge within 90 days. So, I will call them again tomorrow, and dispute all three now that I know this company is a SCAM!
In this day of age, we all need to record everything, thanks to phone camera, it is so easy to do so. We also need to write down all communication between us. About anything. Even between our banks, our HR agents especially these unknown companies connected to our bank charges….. Name, date, time and subject need to be collected for future reference.
Ask for a new card may be a bit a hassle for me with my auto payment, and now that I memorize all the numbers, expiration and CVC but if necessary, I may ask it tomorrow. Hope this helps.
You can ask your bank for a new card with different numbers.
