Hi,

Is this company for real? I submitted all my document and they didn't do anything. Called my lender and nothing was even submited. Why would i pay someone $3000 to do nothing? I can do it myself!

Anyone know how to do a loan modification? or what is the best way of doing a loan modification? Should I call my lender directly to deal with them? I tried to deal with my lender, CountryWide but they just keep on delaying me and told me to call back.. and call back. what info do they actually need?

Can someone recommend a good lawyer that does this? and not a scam! I can't find anyone who does this legit and not scam the us. please advise..

thanks

Debt Settlers of America AAA good company

Dont get confused
Is the name is Debt Settler o Debt Settlor?

Settler:
(n) Settler is the person who transfer the rights and possession of the property owned by him with an agreement in writing where in the beneficiaries are named.
Ex. A person executing a will to distribute his property after his death is a settler. A trustor transferring his property to a trust is also known as settler.

Settlor
In law a `settlor` is a person who settles property on express trust for the benefit of beneficiaries. In some legal systems, a settlor is also referred to as a `trustor`, or occasionally, a `grantor` or `donor`. Where the trust is a testamentary trust.

be careful when you use these two words that have different meaning

Debt Settlers of America Fraud$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

As an increasing number of people are struggling with their debt, debt management companies, credit counseling companies and debt elimination organizations seem to be coming out of the woodwork. There are a number of companies that exist to help people get out of debt, but unfortunately, many turn out to be nothing more than get out of debt scams. People understand that financial troubles are emotional for people and they take advantage of consumers who are just trying to improve their situation.

There are a number of tactics that a get out of debt scam might use, but there are a growing number of companies who convince their customers that the money they owe to banks and credit cards is illegal and therefore the customer is not required to pay for it. This scam involves the company having “legal expertise” and the ability to take the customers creditors to court for a quick retraction of the debt since the creditors wouldn't want the information to be “leaked” to the public.

The get out of debt scams are very convincing, and often use bits and pieces of actual laws to help them appear legitimate. There are many variations of this “your debt is illegal” scam going around, and people with all types of debts are being targeted. Whether you have credit cards, mortgages or other types of debt, chances are you may be contacted for such an offer to save your home or get rid of your “illegal debts” without paying for them. Don't fall for this scam – you will still have to pay your debts and you'll be out the money the company running the scam charged you.

There are many legitimate ways to get out of debt. They always require time and discipline, even if you enlist the help of a credit counseling agency or reputable debt management company. If you are serious about getting out of debt, you'll have to put the time and effort into it. If a “get out of debt” company seems too good to be true, it probably is.

We also agree that this is Scam. We are a victim also and allot also was a victim. 3 of my collegue was collected substantial amount of money by Mr. Juan Arce. He collected 2 checks one is payable to debt settlor of america and the other 20 percent of the total amount he says put it blank the name because that will go to the trustee of the US government, but only lately when all of us check the cheque we issue he write his name on the 20 Percent as Juan Arce and thats not actually goes to the government. He also encourage all of us need to show hardship by not paying our mortgage and it only end up that our house was almost forclose and our good credit was ruined because of their scam.

We should put them all behind bars like others now who are sentence.

Debt Settlers of America FRAUD!!!!!

June 10, 2010

I am writing this letter to inform Better Home Solution and Debt Settlers of America that Bank of America did not accept my loan modification program based on the enclosed letter from Bank of America. When I signed up for Better Home Solutions with Andres Chadarria to get a loan modification with Bank of America he said. that I qualified under the federal guideline. As stated in the letter from Bank of America I do not qualify, so I want my $1, 950.00 back immediately. I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau to inform them that Better Home Solution said I would qualify under the federal loan modification program and took my money under false pretense. Better Home Solutions has gone months without so much as a phone call or a letter as to how my loan was going. As of now I am fed up with Better Home Solutions and its extreme unprofessional negligence and its predatory means to take money from people that are desperately in need of help.

Thank you,
