Dorothy's Helping hands tax service reviews and complaints

I am low income when I called to ask if taxes were free I was told yes to find that they charge some people 2$ and some not all in the same bracket. So I went to do taxes I was treated rudely from the start .they didn't ask for any info like birth date or address. So they call me for my birthdate provided it. Get a call to come get my taxes they argue with me that I gave them the address on my forms. After researching come to find out the address is the local disability office, which they had on one of my t5's. I asked them to change the address at this point It is getting loud on both our parts. I left my son who was also doing his taxes gets a call for him to give my info phone number ect.So they had already called me to get my birthdate.I called them and told them not to involve my son in our business. I asked the owner why I had to pay the 2$ and she said they had changed the policy in jan .So I asked why many people i know didnt pay .she said it is at her discretion .All the time being very rude.Told me why was I making such a big deal out of 2$ (it is just 2 $ she said ) Im like ok why do u want my 2 $ then if its not a big deal. So she starts to swear at me and says she will not e file my taxes now.For me to come get them and she will give me my money back. I did apologize to her for my anger but she just wouldnt listen i went back with my worker the forms were not at the desk like she said we waited till she came out. she called my name I didnt hear her so asked if she was calling for me .She yells what are u deaf .I replies actually yes I am. In front of her busy office she said good riddance to bad rubbish. I and my worker were mortified . My worker told her who she was and that was unacceptable and she screamed for us both to leave. Which we did.Many people in the waiting area were embarrassed also. All this because they had made a mistake on my forms. When u pick up your info she does ask for id like the other tax places .Anyone could go in sign yr name and have yr name, Birthdate, sin number, shady practice at its finest. I posted my experience on my face book page and other came forward and said they were also treated rudely. When my cousin went all she talked about was Sault Ste Marie and how bad it was, How city hall had gone after her. My cousin asked her what else she did in the community and Dorothy yelled at her she does nothing else she only does this. I will never ever recommend this service to anyone again . Beware .
