Read my blog to learn exactly how this SCAM operates

Check out http://filescams.blogspot.com/

There I explain how these scams work, what to watch out for, and how to get your money back if you already have been a victim.

This site, like many others of the same nature, is just a SCAM intended to get you to hand over your credit card details so they can charge you whatever they like. Do NOT be fooled - they don't actually have any content!

The BIGGEST sites that do this are:

Downloadkeeper.com offered a life time member ship with $4.87, so I registered. But as soon as I registered, another website called megaflixpass.com appeared, and I can't download anything from downloadkeeper.com either. Instead, megafixpass.com deducted EUR 33.60 from my card. I've also asked my bank to take action. But the bank was too slow to take action and my money was still deducted!

I wish I had read this before I sign up on DownloadKeeper. I had the same experience as you described. IT IS A SCAM>
On my bank statement, I got their phone # [protected]; I call a place; Dwnld-Solution.com. They did refund my money. I am lucky I got my money back. Other people may easily be overlooked.
Thank you very much for your posting. It should help lots of people.

Downloadkeeper.com don't register with site

This downloadkeeper.com website is fraud website. Please stay away from registering to this site. Before registering the website says you can download every software you are looking. Once you register and login, the site says there are no software available to download. I have been cheated by stupid website/company. Please don't make the same mistake. I have asked my bank to take the action against this company.

I am facing the same problem here. They offered a life time member ship with $4.87, so I registered. How did your bank respond? Did you get your money back?

Downloadkeeper.com Fraud site

downloadkeeper.com is a fraud site. I have joined for a one off fee of $4.87. After joining I
found that it would not accept my ID or password and found I had joined a site called
"megaflixpass.com" instead. This is a film site with porn on it. Added to this the free
membership was only 3 days after which they use your credit card to take another $89.87
every 30 days till you cancel. The site for cancelling they give is "http://www.customercarelive.com/" doesn't appear to have any facility for cancelling.

Downloadkeeper now appear to be using another SCAM site 360 very similar to other web site . www.360-share.com which is a web site that people can put up software, movies, music etc.
I have come across this before with a number of web sites that scam you for anything from $2.50 to as much as $50.00 that then takes you to 360-share. or http://softwaretopic.informer.com/360-share-pro-free/.
Contrary to the promise of programs/movies/music/etc. they do not have ONE ITEM ON THEIR WEB SITE.
What they have is a list of items that OTHER PEOPLE HAVE MADE AVALABLE. They cannot be accused of distributing copyright software because they do not have any copyright material; they only have a web address of someone that does have it.
Any software downloaded is very likely to contain VIRUS'S, PORTIONS OF THE FILES MISSING usually when you have spent a large number of hours downloading. A friend spent 36 hours downloading a large program to find the owner had left out a needed 5k file NOTE you have no idea who the owner is.
For the VIRUS spreader it's pure heaven they can spread their garbage around the world.
For me the web site DOWNLOADKEEPER was offering a low price access $1.99, after agreeing I was sent to 360, they NEVER mention that you are being transferred to 360 (I thought is was Downloaders web page). The worst part I have been caught 5 times before as they NEVER tell where you are being sent. The actual 360 web site I can honestly I have NEVER been successful in finding or downloading a single program. I tried on a simple file just to test, it contained 7 (seven) Virus's
My recommendation is to avoid 360 and work with friends to club together to purchase the original and share it. This is of course illegal but it does avoid any possible Virus.
All of this of course I never said - it was someone else.

Thanks for making us aware of this scam. We are full of them already and government authorities of all countries should work on this seriously. I also was one minute away to furnish them my cc details and become one more of their victims.

We MUST read the hole site, here is what they say:

◦Trial memberships (all plans) cost USD 4.87, expire in three calendar days and rebill automatically unless cancelled.
◦Terms of Billing: plans will rebill monthly until cancelled at USD 39.73 for Basic, 79.73 for Plus or 89.73 for Premium.

Thanks very much for warning us. It is really disgusting that such individuals still can make money. It seems so legal and I was just going to give them my card details.
Fortunately I 'googled' again and found this site.
Thanks again and let's screem it out whole over the world so that not too much people will be heart.

I just looked at the site myself. This has to be the most elaborate scam I've ever seen! Upon first glance, it seemed so legit... but the unbelievable "statistics summery" box at the left side of the screen, and the laughable testimonials gave it away for me- a "customer" from "France" claimed that "I would have to say that you have a better client support department than AT&T." Uh-huh. Right. Apparently, then, not only is AT&T providing a similar borderline-illegal download service, but it is providing it in France. The AMERICAN Telephone and Telegraph company. In France. Sure.
Even more disgusting, it seems that when you do get an account (and then get about $100 swiped from your credit card) you don't actually get "free" downloads at all. Instead, you get dozens of simple links, that lead you to either where you "could" download them(usually by signing up with another site, or simply a torrent site), or they just lead you to reams of shemale porn. Surely there must be a law.

...This site and its creators deserve to be trolled, spam'd, and crashed until they beg for death.
