horrible haircut
Absolutely hair butchers ! I went to the richmondhill location on bayview Avenue. Walked in with beutiful long haor showed her what I wanted and ended up with half my haor chopped off and nothing like I wanted. Took her 7 mins to butcher my hair looks horrible ! Stay away from first choice hair cutters ( butchers ). I'm surprised with the 1000s of complaints out there that they are still in buisness !
Butchered my Hair
I was starting a new job and needed a hair trim - that's all! I even brought a picture of what I wanted done.
By the time Donna of the Angus Ontario First Choice Haircutters got through with my hair it was totally butchered! I even went to another hairdresser and there wasn't a thing she could do to fix it.
Now that's a butcher job! It will take at least three months to grow to the point where I started.
So if you absolutely have go to First Choice in Angus, whatever you do, don't let Donna anywhere near your hair!
I went to First Choice and asked for a very basic haircut. I specifically specified the desired length. The woman did what she wanted instead, and I have absolutely horrible, short hair. I'm so disappointed, she wouldn't even listen to what I wanted, she we t ahead and did her own thing and completely butchered the hair that I have to live with. I will never ever go back to any First Choice the rest of my life!
I am going to grade 9 high school tomrw and got my hair cut yesterday, i am so pissed ! my beautiful long silky straight hair has turned to a sloppy layers short mess. i asked for the same length but just add a few layers and she decided to chop off 2 1/5 inches and make random layers everywhere. wtf ! i started crying because i am now going to high school with no friends, fat body, pimply face and ugly hair to compliment my fat round face. the location was the one near markville in markham. lord help me ! my hair grows sooo slow, i am sooo depressed. i have social anxiety disorder and this ### hair isnt helping me.

I think you people are crazy, I have had my hair done in Angus by Donna and the other ladys and well I will deffinately be going back and I have spread the word and they also have had nothing but a great experence in the angus first choice hair cutters.
I went to First Choice in Gravenhurst and had my hair butchered by Miranda. I asked her to cut 1 1/2 inches off all over. Then I made the mistake of removing my glasses. The woman started picking up pieces of hair and snipping away with no apparent plan. She did not clip it up in sections, she just started cutting. I stoppd her when she got out an electric razor and tried to run it up the back of my head. She said she was going to cut of the straggly bits. I didn't have any straggly bits before she started. At that point I put my glasses on and got the shock of my life. I guess she wanted to give every woman who goes in there the kind of mannish haircut she has. I am going on holiday in six days to visit people I have not seen in three years and my hair is a disaster. I could cry. There is nothing I can do but wait weeks for it to grow. Someone take that woman's scissors away, please.
I went there with a friend and they totally ruined my hair. I went back to see if it could be fixed and the woman just made it worse. I had people coming up to me asking me what happen to my hair and saying that I looked terrible. I will never in my life go back there or recommend them to anyone else. If your desperate don't even go there your sure to end up with a hack job.
I had the same experience at Queen street and Torbram (Brampton). Adina or something like that butchered my hair. It's not even that she didn't know how to cut hair but she is very unhappy with life and hair cuts are the fruit of that. I will never ever ever ever ever ever go back to First Choice hair cutter in my life. I will also display my butchered hair to everyone I know and say "never ever ever ever get a hair cut at first choice" .
First Choice = Last Choice (that's only if they stop making scissors, and I had no hands)
i agree they used to be a great company now it is disapponting, even here in the niagara region where i am from
Very bad service
I have made 4 trips to our local First /Choice Haircutters Salon and It has been closed. I have been a regular here for 5 years. They have posted Closed Sun.& Mon. Open the rest of the week at 9am. Twice last week they were not open at 9:15am and again on Thur. at 9:30am. Today there was a sign finally in the window at 9:30 am that they were not opening...
