ridulous fees
I had been a member of fitworks which charged my credit card monthly. The charges had been going through ok for over a year. In December I received a bill via internet in December with numerous penalty fees for October through December. I was told the bank had rejected the charges and therefore owed these numerous fees. The bank told me there had never been an attempt by this company to charge for the membership fees. I called ASF international and was told the bank and I were lying and owed these extra fees. I asked why I had not been notified in October of any problems and was told that was my problem I should have dealt with in October but knew nothing of it until December. These people are a scam trying to make extra money. They will not listen to logic and are very uncooperative and abrasive. Why would the bank and I lye about this. They need some updating on their customer service interaction with customers.
membership
I joined FitWorks and after 1 week of working out I got hurt. I canceled my membership, or tried. I gave them the proper paperwork for canceling that they asked for. Now, 2 months later I am still calling them to find out what is going on. They keep taking money out of my bank for membership dues, yet NO BODY has called me back. Neither the local gym nor the Corp. Office has given me a return call on the matter. So, they got my "down payment" and 2 months of dues for which I only attended 1 week. I am still awaiting a return call and meanwhile, I am sure they plan on taking my money every month!
