Unauthorized Funds Deducted
I used a website that said for $3.97 they would help find my unclaimed funds. They indicated that they were a government source and that my found money was sizeable. The long and short of it, they are a SCAM, MISLEADING, THEY'LL SAY ANYTHING FOR MONEY. The next day my bank account was charged with fees from a company I can't even find out who they are. I am going to report them also to the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General and the FCC.
unauthorised withdrawl from debit
was charged 2.95 for service then charged 49.95 for not subscribing to service within their required time was never notified of this unauthorised tranaction. This company is a ripoff use tactics to lure you into using their service and than continue charging even when you have not once used their website. They scam you into using this service and will not let you cancel so they can keep on charging for service you never use
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Unable to prevent payments
Hi,
I am also trying to stop a magazine called 'FORTUNE FINDERS' from taking money from my account. Having just had a sroke at the time, I was easy pickings by a very glib sales sales operative and am now unable to stop my money from leeching out of my account. As I said the company is called 'FORTUNE FINDERS', based at HELMOND in the Nederlands. I have written them twice but guess what?...NO REPLY! My bank is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle as they say they cannot stop the payment as it was made using a debit card...What f*****n' nonesense! This means that no one is in control of their own money.
Has anyone had dealings with this publication? as it has no recognition on Google and cannot be contacted by telephone...This is a nightmare!
Yours, duped.
Problem is, Rah...
Like me you were conned by a 'nice lady cold caller' who extracted your debit card details and set up a direct debit with your bank and which your bank is powerless to stop without evidence of either a fraud or the perpetrators cancelling the DD...which is unlikely to happen because if that nice 'cold caller' managed to generate 1, 000 accounts at £10 a time every month that = £10, 000 a month, or £120, 000 a year in the UK alone! And for a worthless piece of s**t you wouldn't wipe your jacksy on!
So if you want out, drop them two postcards telling them you want to cancel, go to your bank and tell them you want to close the account the money is being extracted from, and give them the proof they need to stop the payment by showing them a copy of the correspondence you sent...to which you got no reply. And tell your bank they are being investigated for fraud. End of story.
Im tring to stop everthing from these people. I called them and told them to cancel everything. But these thefts are still charging to my credit card. So now, Im going to my cerdit card company, and have them take no more payment dues, from fortune finders. I BET they''LL answer the phone when, I call NOW!
stolen funds
I had cancel it the same day i applied and didn't think anything else about it they never found any money for me but on may the 3rd they debit my account for 88..95 and when i called they said i lose it because i approved it which i never approved the transaction. i feel like i was robbed and trying to figure out how to pay my bills . i'm living on unemployment which is fixing to run out i lost my job two years ago and haven't found a job yet. i don't even have the money to by clothes or anything else i need and now they stole what little bit of money i had to pay bills i want a refund asap just like you did to my account i did not authorize it at all they are nothing but crooks
Yes, I too subscribed to this scam. I got the email from them saying I had money in Bermont. I have never lived in Vermont. I called and told them this was a scam and that I was cancelling. I still got charged the 88.95 and the next month 39.95 plus a 5.00 charge. I just got off the phone with them and they said I did not cancel. If they are poerating out of Panema, what recourse do we have?
my girlfriend and i contacted these cyber thieves with the assurance that with a small nominal fee these charlatans would deliver on there agreement NOT TRUE they havnt just stolen money they have stolen my belief and trust in others
fortune finders lied to me and took money out of my account lied to me again and told me my information was in the mail same old [censored] stealing from those less (FORTUNATE) than them i am very angry and hurt at this callused behavior and the blatant misrepresentation of trust.
How do you get out of this unregretable scam? They have taken out of my bank account the second time without my permission. And without doing anything for me.
I fell into the same scam with Fortune Finders. Just got my credit card bill yesterday and am not happy about the $88.95 "fee". Does it stop here? I'll have to agree, as far as I can tell, Fortune Finders is "finding" fortune allright. But it's coming from my bank account! :, (
Unfair and predatory, misleading scam
Unfair and predatory, misleading scam to offer very low fee and turn around and charge to you another $80-$90 deduction from your account. All of this without providing any goods or services in lieu of the funds they withdraw, very illegal, unethical.

they said i had claims they even new the addresses of other places i have lived without me telling me and we paid the money now there site and customer service does not work
My fiance' was told he had 6 claims and they also knew his brother's name and his mother's name and knew that he lived in California years ago. I think it is a scam and I'm reporting my card lost so that I can get a new card and number.
