bad haircut too short
this isnt a complaint against the salon but with a stylist who cut my hair too short, or with any stylist who cuts people's hair too short. I went to this salon to get a hair cut. First had to wait since they had people backed up and were taking walk-ins over real appointments. After waiting, then a stylist took me. We agreed on a certain number of inches he was going to cut off, and before I knew it, he had chopped off almost 6 inches or more. My hair was halfway down my back, and ended up being cut almost above my shoulders. It almost seemed like a bob or close to one. This is a travesty...why do these incompetent and stupid stylists think they can do this to people who are paying for services? Do people really pay someone for a botched or bad haircut that they didn't really want? How hard is it to be trained to know what 2-3 inches is as opposed to 6-7 or more? It seems stylists do this intentionally as they are fully trained and can't be that stupid as to not know the length of hair to cut when it comes to what someone wants. Stylists should be very concerned with not cutting people's hair too short, as that is one thing that is hard to undo, along with many others, yet they do so without a care in the world. When it was cut too short- it was of course too late to say anything as the bad was already done. Just an upset client who didn't go to get a hair cut to leave upset because of hair cut too short. Some people spend months growing their hair out, only for some incompetent stylist to ruin it in less than half a second. These aer trained professionals who seemingly intentionally cut hair too short for probably very selfish reasons and its just not right. It should be what the client wants, not what the stylist wants or wants to do to ruin people's hair or cut it too short. Its sad that some of these people just don't learn and continue to mess up people's hair in this way and charge them for it.
and the walk in thing-- again wtf aer u talking about. the walk in was with my stylist and was taken before me while i was an appointment. So again i dont know what youer talking about... stop making complicated messes out of people's complaints with your incessant nonsense
in most cases, people's ends arent 6 inches long...and most people who complain of stylists cutting their hair too short, know it wasnt done out of concern for split ends...i dotn think any of those things applies in the situation---and if it did then why would the stylist agree to a certain length...and number of inches...of course it was their incompetence in just cutting it too short for whatever reason...there are mean people out there who in some cases do things out of spite or who knows what- not wanting peopel to be happy with something or to screw them over...ive had stylists who cut my hair only two inches, and are scared to cut anymore...or do much less, than ask if you want more- any good stylist knows that so that they dont end up cutting off too much. Any bad stylist will cut off about 4-5 inches more than they told you they'd cut and do it right away, and all at once so that you are just screwed and theres nothing you can do. In this case, the stylist made it very clear that I was going to have a medium to longish cut--with certain layers...what I got was a very short cut with long layers...it was a mess...I guess he decided somewhere along the lines, that he was going to cut off way too much in the beginning and didnt care to inform me...
i had an appointment so im not sure what youre talking about. They took a walk in before me. It doesnt matter what kind of hair I have.. 7 inches isnt three inches...the stylist agreed to one thing...what kind of argument are u trying to present here...none of course...the stylist was in the wrong unless youre trying to defend bad hair stylists who mess up people's hair. The stylist knew exactly what I wanted as we talked about it and the length, but he decided he'd go much shorter than he said he would---it's what bad stylists do- they screw up people's hair for whatever reason and once the damage is done...theres nothing a person can do about it- a lot of women agree there can be varying reasons for it but it's just wrong...stylists aren't stupid they are fully aware of the # of inches they are taking off and what a client wants...

Rude-No Customer Service
I had called to set up an appointment after my mother-in-law said a girl where she works had her hair done at Headlines. She had gotten a brazilian blowout so I was calling to inquire about that and make an appointment for a cut and possibly a color. I called 2 or 3 times on Monday and left messages hoping to catch someone at work, as they are open by appointment only on Mondays (according to their website). The next day was Tuesday, so I waited until 30 minutes after they opened to call to set up an appointment. No one answered the phone, so I left another message. No one had called me back by 10am and I needed to either get an appointment with them, or make an appointment with another salon, so I called again. Someone answered the phone, and I started asking about the services they provide. She informed me they no longer did the Brazilian blowout (which was fine) and told me that she had gotten my message yesterday. She acted like she was in a hurry to get to a fire, but nonetheless, I still needed an appointment. So, even though they do not do the brazilian, I inquired about what they do have. She gave me incorrect information about relaxers, told me they were waiting on a replacement for the brazilian and asked if I wanted to be contacted when they found one. I told her that I still needed my hair done even if they don't do brazilian blowouts. She told me she knew someone who still did the bb and she could give me their number. Honestly, I wasn't really interested, but asked her what services they provide. It was like pulling teeth to get any information. She finally said, "I can give you the girls number, do you want it?" So I just said yes, and wrote it down. I have never been treated so rudely by someone whom I'm trying to pay to perform a service. Here I was prepared to pay this hair salon at least $200 to get my hair done and she acted like it was a total imposition to talk to me for 2 minutes. Newsflash sister--Hairstylists have to be good listeners to know what their customers want! I will never go there, and I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW of their rude and unprofessional behavior.

do NOT have david of headlines salon do your hair- this incompetent ### ruins people's hair...this imbecile low life cut off more than 12 inches of my hair...in three months it has BARELY grown back..my hair generally grows REALLY fast-- so on top of a horrible hair cut-- david the stupid freaking ### will ruin your hair and do somethign to where it just WONT grow back...let david the stupid pitiful ### of headlines do your hair...this miserable POS will ruin it and make sure it just won't grow back...this horrid loser does some of his 'magic' on your hair to make sure he makes your experience bad your haircut bad and that it just won't grow back...bravo to this pathetic fool and jerk
oh yes lets take the opinion of some uneducated 'hair stylist' who apparently or usually is rude and doesnt know how to treat people. No thanks...i'll take the opinion of customers, not white trash out there. my walk in was not an appt before me as the girl told me on the phone the guy was almost done with his prior appt. The walk in was an obvious 'walk in.' Your mother doesn't seem very smart but thats not surprising...again im not suer what you're arguing about. Oh right- that b/c i had an appointment...its my fault. Oh if im a walk in, its my fault too- yet the walk in got the good hair cut, not me. Then, its that the stylist wanted to get rid of my 7 inches of supposed 'split ends.' I'm sure if the stylist kicked me in the shins it would just be a normal 'stylists' way of trying to get hair off me. You're a real whackjob...but not surprising. Many jerks like you are...
The stylist screwed my hair up- most likely intentionally as again he knew the length he was supposed to take off, and decided he'd give me a 90's style shoulder length joke of a hair cut, and take off about 7 inches or more...his name was justin I think or he was one of the only males who worked there. Just becareful of him or who knows how many incompetent jerk stylists out there who get off on ruining people's hair for kicks because they have the 'power' to do so and take money for it too...
