Non existent customer services
There is no such thing as customer services at iclix, at most you'll find someone that will pass you over to someone else whom in turn will do the same thing - you will go from pillar to post.
There is absolutely no use in trying to communicate any problems to iclix as I can almost guarantee you that you will find no joy or solutions.
This complaint is to serve only as a warning to current clients and potential future clients who will be ripped off by iclix - the internet is constantly broken but iclix takes it upon themselves to find the problem by you as YOU are the problem, not them.
They make it seem like they doing a person a favor however if they were doing any favors I'd appreciate nothing more than what I paid for as I'm supposed to have 3mb line but 0.74mb is what I get, when it decides to work that is.
Before contacting iclix allow me to save you from the possibility of high blood pressure and potential stroke and do as follows:
1 - Restart your PC
2 - Restart your internet
3 - Disconnect all devices from wifi
4 - wait for them to get back to you
5 - Repeat steps 1 through 5.
Look, I know this will not solve the problem however neither will iclix but at least this way you might even live long enough to see your grand kids.
No thanks required.

Internet service provider
I have been staying in Unilofts in Bloemfontein for the past 4 years, ever since I moved in here I have been battling with this internet service provider. Their internet is not only unbelievably slow (5kb/s) most of the time but unreliable unstable. The past 4 years I have been calling in, some times for weeks every single day, to ask them to try fix this issue. Most of the time my complaint is merely shrugged off by the "on-call" technician, with them lazily saying they will just reset the internet. Other times I have had a technician come out to see what the problem is just to have them sit in my house for an hour or so just for them to tell me that they need to go back to the offices to see what is "actually" going on. Again nothing is fixed. I have even went to far as to ask to speak to the manager, whom is a very pleasant man to speak to, but again I can still not see results. I called him again about 4 days ago and he promised me he will definitely have someone look into it, but 4 days down the line, again no progress. So that is why I am writing this review. I have tried to call, spoken to multiple people, spent endless amounts of airtime on this company for them to just ignore my complaints. In conclusion, Iclix is honestly and without a doubt the worst internet service provider that you will ever encounter. I highly recommend that you stay away from this company as it will only bring you frustration and a unbearably slow internet connection
In response to all allegations made by yourself, Iclix hereby wish to express the following facts:
Mr. Manthe’s first complaint was in respect of Iclix cutting off his access to WI-FI – this was due to the fact that the account was in arrears.
In terms of our terms and conditions we are entitled to stop rendering service in the event of non-payment by a client.
This matter was resolved when the client made full payment on the arrears and the services could be rendered again.
The second complaint was as a result of poor connection he experienced. Poor connection is always a possibility in the services we render due to the fact that there are always factors beyond our control.
The degree in which he was affected was of a very short duration.
Despite all our efforts to satisfy this client, it seems impossible and we have taken the decision to refund him for the month of February in total – basically rendering services for free for the month. The client has made it clear through his allegations made that he is not happy with our services and the manner we conduct our business and it would therefore not be incorrect to view all the insults against our business as a direct attack on our credibility.
In terms of the same Consumer Act Mr. Manthe refers to, a business also have the right to terminate a contract, which we decided to implement due to the fact that nothing we do, seems to satisfy Mr. Manthe.
Our legal advisors have also tried to reach him on all 3 contact numbers available to us but to no avail.

I have seen the same thing said about iclix over and over again. There is a trend at that company to employ "disposal" incompetent staff so that if iclix manages to screw you over (which they will) they don't accept or take any liability. The internet works very intermittently and short of kidnapping the CEO's daughter to be held for ransom, you can forget about them giving a toss about you or your internet - the ONLY thing that runs really smoothly over there at iclix is their ability to take your money as they are nothing more than fly by night cash grabbing crooks.

Mr Manthe was not contacted by Iclix at all, that is a blatant lie. No efforts were taken in resolving any issues brought to light by Mr Manthe. Iclix asked Mr Manthe to please remove any negative online posts about them and as soon as he did they promptly told him to "bugger off" . The only efforts made by Iclix was to try and manipulate Mr Manthe into removing negative reviews whilst they "attend" to the issues...skelm.
