Non delivery of prize
I was promised a 42" LCD TV, but they delivered a watch. I don't want a refund, I want the TV as promised.
Go for it. If we all stand together we will hopefully get something done.
And you won't. They are a bunch of phonies. Unfortunately in the new SA comlaining does not help.

Received a letter this afternoon..and I happened to have won the following, R10 000 holiday voucher, entered into R100 000 draw and to top it all "have been specifically selected to receive another award" I ask myself how nice? Well after signing the form ready to go to the bank and make a deposit of R129.90 I decide to google the company..he he he guess what? It's a scam..so many comments about the same thing? To all those souls who took their time to post their comments thank you, You have saved me money and time as well. To the scammers though luck maybe next time. To the Magazine, I really don't know what to say because I was this thing on the Magazine and decided to enter...

Me I have already send that money for this scam about 163.90c yesterday 16/04/2013 but is fine no one running way from the low here in South Africa
I also received the very same scrach card worth R10 000 and a grand prize of R120.000. and other many letters congratulating me on my winnings and i made those fees they said i should pay. one day i decided to call and ask why i was'nt geting the money they promised to pay? then one of their consultant told me that their draw will happen at the 31st of December 2011 so i should be just patient, my luck will come so i'm still waiting but if this is one their tricks, then they've got something coming to them and i hope it happen soon. sis man:
I received the same thing this morning in the Sowetan newspaper. Can't believe that the newspaper will actually put this B$ in here.I just wasted R5 of my airtime for these Con Artists!I wonder if it is not these timeshare that try their luck because most people are no longer falling for their tricks!
these people should be locked up, playing with peoples emotions like that & shame to all the magezines & news papers for allowing these corn artists to corn us. I got a scrach card inside my south african daily sun 3 matching symbles appeard after sendind an sms in response i was told that i have won, suspicius of this amazing prise i googled this company & to my supprise it was a scam. Sis
they sent me a two letters saying that i have won a holiday discount worth R10.000 and also grand price of R120.000.this offer looks great and true but after i have done the reseach i have doubts to continue with the payments they have requested
I just recieved the EXACT same prize! I got this scratch card in the post about a week and a half ago, and after scratching and getting 3 identical symbols i was a winner! So i smsd back my postal details and sure enough today i recieved my "prize". The prize said I had won a R10000 holiday voucher and after sending in R129 along with my credit card details I would win another fantastic prize and be in the draw for R100000. Well sounding too good to be true I decided to do some research, and sure enough the first thing I saw on google is SCAM. So after reading numerous complaints, this has confirmed my suspicions. Thank you all for your comments, you have saved me from being a victim of a very elaborate scam.
Non Delivery of Prizes
I played the scratch and win game where i received a R10 000 voucher. I made a pyment of R360 and returned the voucher. I was promised a pendant watch and a cash prize of R115 000. I deposited an amount of almost R600 so as to receive my claims but till now i have not received anything or heard anything from them. Are these people for real or a scam? They should not rip off people at least if they get first payments they should let poor people enjoy their hard earned money.

I think I was caught by the same scam, but my delivery fee was R149, 90. Only thing, I was stupid enough to fall for it.

Ooh, gosh! This scam is serious neh! You are right to say we must come together to null these ###. I've fallen a victim several times, giving them a benefit of the doubt. I've just receive one of their letters claiming to have won R8 498 158, 00 and to pay R169, 90 remittance for the check. Hence now I decided to Google and all of you are here! Thanks God. We perhaps need a suitable platform to solicit more people. I bet, this is not South Africans. This is huge than we think.
There was this advert on the newspaper some weeks ago, "Madam Gloria, a psychic" to help reading your future and assist you with luck, love etc. They will send you a fake letter about yourself (all jargon) and how soon lady luck will be knocking at your door, then the next is you receiving all these IMS "winning" letters. Ja, neh! Le rona re rata tjhelete. Mehlalo ke dinoha, mesenene ke batho!

I am a girl of 20 years and I receive a letter saying that I have won R48, 000, 00 and a car from International Merchandise Service. I immediately went on the Internet to my surprise I was introduced to the SCAMS they are doing. Now I don't know if I should believe any this that I received from them. I thank all the people that opened my eyes to all this, to even think I was going to pay the money that they asked for.
I also received many letters stating that I have won R115 000, 00 and R46 000, 00, which will be sent with my order that I place with them. Only the order came which was half broken and of no sense to return for a return, as the return cost more than the item itself. For the past seven years I have entered this competitions and every time when I am announce and notified as a winner I do not get the prize but my money is in their account. Until now it is still going on. I have contact Wayne to lodge my complaint via e-mail in 2011, It does not take one year and six months to answer a e-mail. after reading all these bad report on e-mail I think that these people must be stop and investigated by the Hawks as their bank account is getting fill with other peoples money. I am so disgusted that they have taken me for a ride. M Pandy
I also received a letter stating that I had won an amount of R120 000.00 which was going to be paid in 5 instalments provided that I send an amount of R139.00. Instead I was posted a "diamond" penchant necklace. Three weeks later I recieved another letter claiming that I had won an amount of R46 000.00 or any of the large prizes. To this I did not send any money, but five weeks later, I received a letter stating that there was a large parcel in a box that needs to be collected, and I need to pay an amount of R139.00. I paid this amount and when a receipt from the post came for me to collect, I thought; this is it. Guess what? the same "diamond" necklace. Today(05/07/11) I got another letter. These people must be investigated. from Sabelo Fulephu . Emndeni South. Soweto
Experience has taught me that when something is too good to be true, it usually is. I' m so glad that I didn't fall for their scam. Always do your homework if you're not sure about something. Like you, I went on the net and found out that it was indeed a scam and I was so disgusted with the perpetrators. That wouldn't have been my last money, but for many, it was. So before I send them any money, I would think twice and I'm glad I did. It's still your decision. so I guess you have to do what your gut tells you. Just remember, there are so many scams out there and everybody's after your money. Think about it, if they have 100 people fooled, how much money can they make? Something worth giving a gander, wouldn't you say?
I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY EITHER WHETHER TO BELIEVE U OR NOT.AS IVE ALSO RECEIVED SUCH PARKAGE, AND I DID AS IT SAY BY DEPOSITING R159, 90.UR COMMENT HAVE TAKEN MY SPIRIT DOWN.BUT HOW CAN A SCAM USE SUCH WAY, THAT CLAIM LETTER LOOKS ORIGINAL AND EVEN EXPENSIVE .IN THE OTHER SIDE I DONT THINK IS A SCAM.TO WRITE AND PRINT A LETTER IS COSTY AND TO POST.INTERNATIONAL MERCHANDISE SERVICE IS EXISTING...
Yes
I also scratched a price in a magazine, they said to deposit money in order for me to receive the price I have won.
useless to say, I received nothing, is somebody investigating this company? do they even exist?

I'm so glad for the internet at times like these.I too was promised a guaranteed prize of R115 000, 00.Thank God that I decided to do a little bit of investigating myself.Anyway, what an eye opener when I read so many complaints of this so called company who goes by the name of International Merchandise Services. To think that I was considering sending the money for the goods promised, what a close call.I'm glad I went with my gut on this one.To think that there are people in this world who wouldn't think twice of stealing from the poor just infuriates me.I'd also like to know how they could put their rubbish in the MNET guide.I intend to investigate this matter further with MNET.
Paid money for nothing
We have received numerous letters from IMS informing us that we have won amounts of money and that we have to just pay a nominal fee for handling or administration purposes. First it was R50 000 (even requested a foto), then R20 000 (again a foto), then a Panasonic 42" Plasma Screen Colour TV. Well to say the least, we replied every time with the required money (postal Orders), even ordered some of the goods, but to date have not received anything except a fake pendant (made in China) Everytime the fee required is no less than R190.
We called this morning to find out what happened to the TV as it was supposed to be delivered om Friday 11 Dec 2009. The person that picked up told us that we had to be o n a list of 25 winners. When we asked how we get this list, we were told that they do not have a list, but you would know that you were a winner if you received the tv.
When we asked to speak to somebody in charge, we were told that there is nobody available. When we told her that we want to complain, we were told to do as we wish. With all the money paid to them already, we have nothing to show but the little fake pendants.

i also am a winner from the company and they said i won R500 000 to get that money i must send R129 and a R50 for fast service which i did send and i never got any luck they kept quite ever since i sent them the money so if its a ripp off why do that to people cause this will end up making people go to the police or speak out and show how you treat you people who trust youll so please contact me on [protected] so that we can talk so that i wont take this metter very far going to speak out for that fact.
This competition is a scam . They promise me money close to 1 million even today they keep on promising

SCAM
This company has now tried to scam me twice - but with no luck! After receiving their first scam letter telling me that I won a quarter of a million rand but needed to send R215 in order to redeem it, I decided to call their call centre as an "unsuspecting customer" trying to redeem the funds that I won. The con artist who answered had no clue what he wa...
