phone chat line
Phone chat line is a place for people to meet each other, but instead has become a place for men to pray on woman who are vonreable and seeking love and friendship.
This partyline is dangerous and I got hurt meeting a man off this line. He uses this line on the free trails and when his time is up he uses an app to get a new number and free phone chatline time.
He looks for BBWs to use for money and beats them. His name is Todd Cardona he lives in San Diego. Please help shut this man down.
fraud
We have received notification of a reserved amount of money to be withdrawn from our bank account by lavalife. We have never ever had dealings with this company of any sort nor given our bank details to anyone to use fraudulently. What can be done to investigate this matter ?

Hi everyone, I am just on here to share my story about what happen tonight.
Well, I was laying in bed, bored. And decided to browse through my cell phone, they had a few different links, horoscopes, news, psychics. So I decided to click the psychic through text. It said it was going to charge me .99 a text, but I didnt mind, I was bored, but I had NO idea what was going to happen next...
So, I instantly receive a text message, asking for my name and birthday, I send them the massage, the next thing I got back was
"Hello would you like a reading?" (.99)
I said "yes" (.99)
I'm thinking to myself... "why the FUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCGEEE would you ask if I would like a reading? why do you think I am texting you, you ###!" BUt I didnt say that! I was just thinking it in my head. There goes 99. Plus me replying yes was another 99 cents.
Then they text me back "please go ahead with your question" (.99)
I sent them a text with the question. (.99)
They replied instantly, "Dear we don't do medical readings hun" (99 cents)
Then I wrote back, another question. 99.
(The reason why I wrote back, was because I figured I spend enough money, might as well keep going to see if I will get a real reading you know? Little did I know what was about to come!)
They wrote back "Dear this is only a decision you could make" (.99)
Then I wrote "What kind of psychic are you? You haven't helped me at all, I better not be getting charged for this!" .99
Then they wrote back "Dear I cannot make a decision for you!" (.99)
I did NOT write back. I was so freaking mad, and upset. This is just bogus!
I called Verizon Wireless right away! They told me that they are not affiliated with these scammers. And that they have a law suit against companies like these, and they told me if i want my money back, that I would have to contact this phone number, and ask them for a refund myself.

So that is what I did! I called the number, and some Indian guy named Altan was being SOOOOO rude to me, and he was basically YELLING at me, and telling me that its Verizon Wireless job to refund me the money NOT theirs.
He told me that he wasnt going to give me the money, and hung up on me.
This is a SCAM! A complete SCAM! Do not get fooled like I did. Do not sign up for LavaLife psychic readings, OR ANYTHING FROM LAVALIFE.
These people are located in India, and they are a huge scam. They get a few dollars from me, a few dollars from you, a few dollars from everyone, and they make thousands like this a day! THOUSANDS BY DOING NOTHING.
Its just not fair! These companies need to be stopped.
Poor service
Poor, poor service and unreasonable guidlines for profiles and pictures.
They're very quick and happy to take your money but are very unaccountable
when it comes to customer service. They only seem to respond when they like
the query...if you have a complaint they just ignore you. It seems to me
that profiles are rejected based on the personal opinion of the person
reviewing the profile and then they refuse to explain themselves...but
already have my money of course.
Very disappointing that they take advantage of people that are sometimes
vulnerable and are just seeking happiness.

Lavalife ... one of the bigger money scammers around. On the site, there is a particular individual who is known to con women for money after a couple of dates. Scenario - date, date, trip ... contact by text message from this individual indicating unexpected emergency expenses, and upset. Promise to repay loan next week if it was possible to put money in bank account to get home. Person disappears and it is known of three women that were conned. This individual is on Lava - he has been reported four times in the last month as to what he is doing and it appears as long as this individual is a paying member, he is allowed to remain on the site to steal more money from others. Lavalife totally ignores the complaints, even with proof. I suppose it's ok to allow this type of behaviour as long as they cough up monthly dues.

Numerous people have complained that their credit cards have been fraudulently charged by Lavalife.
When I complained about lavalife fraudulently billing my credit card, they even copied and sent me MY PERSONAL CONVERSATIONS through their site, in an effort to threaten and embarrass me. They made it clear that they were reading my personal messages (even while I paid for my privacy) and they weren't afraid to post it publicly.
Lavalife posts this on their website:
Unlike many other websites of this type, we do NOT bill on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. In fact, there is no auto-billing of any kind.
(link below - but they move it around their site as well)
http://www.lavalife.com/008/member/externalHelpDetail.act%3Bjsessionid=E724851082E00AABC4AFD24C94FFB7E2.008?subbranch=11029
Yet, they allegedly hide (you don't find out until you're billed repeatedly) a term in their "agreement" check box that actually will continue charging your credit card.
Lavalife's ultimate goal and plan is that out of 10, 000 that get automatically charged, maybe 1, 000 will actually notice it. Then out of the 1, 000 who notice, 100 will complain. Then out of the 100 who complain, they count on maybe 2 or 3 who get really mad. Then out of those, 1 will make phone calls, post comments on the internet, complain to gov't bureaus - and that 1 MIGHT get their money refunded after a 2 month wait period.
The customer service even goes as far as reading your personal communications and information on your private profile information to find ways to harass you.
I hope anyone else who has suffered this scam has the money and resources to launch a class action lawsuit. Or at least complain to different gov't agencies such as the Better Business Bureau.
Lavalife also attempts to block and erase negative messages on many sites. Anyone with problems with Lavalife should mobilize and post as many places as possible.
Lavalife is losing allot of its user-base to Eharmony (a terrible scam site) and also "Plenty of Fish (which is legitimate but annoying)
The poor service is a buy product of their frustration at customers being less than before. They take it out on those people.
Overall their "speed-dating" and "The Party" features are just attempt to retain usership. But the demographic is too scattered.
Report poor service from them to Better Business Bureaus, both nationally and locally in your area.
If they make false charges or refuse refunds or any of this terms of use crap. Report them. To everyone who is a "complaint gathering" authority.
