FRAUD
WE NEED HELP ME HOWARD! WPIX 11. THIS COMPANY HAS SCAMMED US ALL. LONG ISLAND INSURANCE COMPANY, JOHN KOERNER, ROBERT KOERNER, JOHN MALONEY, AND J.STEVEN KAUFMAN. i have full coverage on my vehicle filed a claim on june 18, 201o and my car still hasnt been paid. liic never answer their phone calls, it took the almost two months to reimburse me for my rental. i waited almost a month and a half for them to send me a payment release to get notarized. they never even told me they were going into liquidation until october, 2010. that company is just a mess and truthfully im happy that they went out business. where did all of our money go? i havent had my car since june 18th 2010 my claim should have been payed before they even went into liquidation. when i stopped using a rental i had to take taxi's back and forth to work and this has been going on for the past 6 months, i pay 20 dollars a day and i work five days a week you do the math, who's going to reimburse me for that. i need my car and the collision people is now charging an storage fee my repairs been made and its been ready since last month. my car is finished they are just waiting to get paid. now thats the unfair part i still have to pay taxis but my car is in the shop repaired but not paid for. i spent so much money and i am going to fight to get all of it back...
refund for car rental
I had an accident on August 7th, 2009. My insurance company (long island insurance) pays $30 per day for a rental, but you must put your money up in advance and they will reimburse you after. I did not want to do this because most insurance companies are not reliable when it comes to paying out or reimbursing. On Sept. 2nd, 2009 I had no choice but to rent a car because I had not gotten mine back by then. I rented a car from Sept. 2nd - Sept. 9th, a total of 8 days. I faxed the insurance company the information for my refund at least 5 times since this date and they keep claiming they did not receive it. The person in charge of my claim will not answer my calls and has not called me. I am still waiting to receive my $240.00. If it was the other way around and I did't pay my insurance, I would be cancelled.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
