harassing calls
My mother has been getting harassing calls on her cell phone from a company called Morgan & Associates. They keep asking for a Michele person. They keep saying they will take the number off the list and then 2 or 3 days later another call. This is very annoying. We should not have to put up with kind of garbage.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Am unpaid loan
I am being harrased by a man named Carl Cooper who claims he is a legal advisor for a company called US Federal loans claim I got a loan 5 years ago but could not give me a date for the amount of 984.65. I could never get a loan if I tried because my identity had been stolen and I am going through a fraud alert now on my social security number. He has threatened to come to my job which is about 2000 miles away from San Francisco and arrest me put a warrant out for me and put my name on the black list so I can not get a job for seven years. He told me he can stop me from getting my social security when I retire. I tried getting a main number for Morgan and Associates but none listed when I asked for a manager he claim he is the manager. When do people have time to sit behind a desk and try to solicit money from hard working people this needs to be stopped because I really feel this is a scam...I am still waiting to be arrested and took back to California where I will be sued for $7000.00 for this debt...Shaking my head at the nerve of Scam Artists.

I have recived calls [protected] and several other numbers between cailfornia all the way back to New York.They have stated i would face frund charges and could face jail time i have not recivced any money from any of thier so called clinets.
Calling me under false pretenses
I received a call this morning under a different number claiming that I did not pay back a cash advance and that I would be sued. The number they called from was: [protected] and the guy gave me two different names. I never actually received a cash advance but did inquire about rates and options which requires offering personal information. This will certainly be the LAST time I ever inquire online and offer personal information to check out my options.
The person suggested that my attorney needed to call which was a way to frighten and intimidate - it did not work! These folks will say most anything to scare you into submission! Watch out and get strong with them. The person I spoke to ultimately (thanks to the phone number listed on the previous complaint : - )) ) took my phone number and found that there was no longer a record for me. After spending two hours on this I think I finally accomplished getting my information removed from their database. We will see... DO NOT LET UP ON THESE PEOPLE! They must have been given a database of inquirers as well as other people and the way they sort it out is to put you through HELL. Don't let them! I do not get money illegally by any means nor do I write bad checks.
Debt collection
An individual named justin calling 12/7/2010 from morgan and associates claiming I owed money to a payday loan company. I asked him to provide documents. Kept pressing him that I could not speak intelligently about this matter without a referance. He kept talking, in a foregion accent, claiming significant leagal action if "he downloaded my file". He clearly has some personal information of mine. I assume its stolen. I told him I would get back to him that day. Afterwords I immediately called my bank to put my account on hold. Scammers and the holidays really sucks
Called and left a message stating that I am in a legal mess. Stated his name was Austin but that last time he called and left a message his name was different and it was the same voice. When i called, they would not tell me anything about the payroll advance i had supposedly taken out. He proceded to tell me i banked with Wells Fargo when i dobt. He told me he would have me fired from my job after he garnished my wages after being sent to federal prison. What can I do they change numbers and start calling me again. I can't take the threats. I have an ill father and enough stress to break a normal person. Please help me! Also. I have had advances but have paid all of them off.
I have been getting phone calls at my work from this company. I had a payday loan and ended up having to file bankruptcy 5 years ago. This was one of the companys on the bankruptcy that was executed. 5 years later these people that I can't even understand are calling me at work. My work is sick of the phone calls because we are a hospital pharmacy and they are disrupting work which is a danger for the patients. They won't stop calling even after we were instructed by the hospitals legal department to transfer the call to them. They instructed them to not call my work place. They still continue to call. One of the technicians that I work with went off on them and told them to stop calling and to not call back until they could speak english. LOL That was priceless...what they are doing is illegal. He kept saying so you aren't going to pay this. I said NO...if it was discharged on my backruptcy, which it was, then I don't owe it. I am trying to contact them now to have them send me something in writing which they never want to do. I filed complaints with the FBI who has been investigating this scam according to an ABC story that was done. They provided lots of information on who to contact to help in the process. Anything that I can do to take care of these scammers and avoid them from getting me fired, I will definitely do! They are rude and apparently not of the highest intelligence!

frauduliant cash advances
On Monday, November 29, 2010, i recieved a call from a Roy Anderson in regards to a cash advance that was supposedly processed and deposited into my checking account in February. They were asking for an amount of $789.56by Tuesday or I will have to pay over $5735.45 of attorney fees, court cost, etc. I responded that i never applied for a cash advance with them online. I also stated that I did not have an account number at the particular bank they were referring to. They also mentioned that they had been trying to contact me through my job. Saturday was the first time i heard from them. I repeatedly told them that i never took out a cash advance with them. This man had a strong Arab accent, rude, disrespectful, and has made threat to take legal action by coming to my job or my home and as well as taking me to court for this situation. Since Saturday, they have continued to call and harrass me of this fruadulant matter. I did some research on this particular business and they are known for numerous of bogus phonecall scams. Also this guy who claims to be Roy Anderson is not a real person. At this point i am tired of the phone calls and threats to my voicemail to take me to jail for something I did not do. I refuse to change my number for their satisfaction; What can I do or who to call to make these calls stop.

I've had collection idiots call my number looking for someone I don't know before, and if you know they can't do anything to you, its fun to turn the tables on them and ruin their day for a change.
I know they are just doing their job and all, but hey, if they keep calling after being told the person they want is not here, all bets are off.
