customer service
They are waiting more than a week to process my loan. They took my interest out on the 11th of January when I supposed to get my loan on the 7th. Called again for probably the 10th time since the 7th (today's the 17th) and got no where. In fact, my main concern is that I might get kicked out of school and he talked over me and wouldn't stop saying the same thing. I understood that I couldn't be made a priority but I wanted to know what happens when I get kicked out of school because my tuition isn't paid. I won't be getting my loan until the end of the month. That's [censored]. I commute 1.5 hours both ways 5 days a week for school and have bills to pay, textbooks to buy, and no other income other than this so that I can focus on my studies. Won't need to focus on my studies if I get kicked out though. I'm in a very fast paced program and I need to buy those textbooks. I'm in my overdrafts in my bank account with a payment coming out right away. This was a [censored] way to treat me and if I could've recorded that phone call I would've. What a joke. I'm actually disgusted with the treatment. Just level with me. I'm a human being in a panic. Teach your customer service reps how to speak to people.

Unreal! Worst people to deal with.
Series of events.
Son finished school april 2018.
October 2018 received letter saying osap due before nov 1 to avoid interest or set payment schedule.
Oct 23- paid osap in full.
Nov 2 - received letter "congratulations! Your student loans are paid in full".
Dec 21 - received letter "your loan payments are past due" going to send to collections.
7 phone calls over the past two days...8 hours in total... A very nice lady at cslp finally said that there is a problem with this file and that there is no balance but my son need to call back to have them open the case file. Unless I am power of attorney - which I am not. I am just authorized on the account. All notes were to be there... Guess what?
Son arrived home from work at 530pm and called... Back to square one.
They want to charge him interest in his loan that is paid in full - with the letter to prove it from them.
Another hour on the phone and he has to call back tomorrow to go through the entire thing with nslp then to be transferred to cslp to fix it. Now that he has started his new job, that is very convenient to spend two hours dealing with this.
Horrible service.
My guess is that most people get tired of fighting and just pay additional $148... That must be how nslp people get paid? In principle I will not do this.
