selling sick, poorly cared for puppies
Purchased an aussie puppy from Nicole. From the minute we got puppy home noticed him itching constantly, then upon inspection of his skin through his fluffy aussie coat, he was super infested with fleas and had a balding spot on his right buttocks, it took 5 flea baths to get rid of them. Also noticed his stools were loose, and had already planned to do a initial vet visit the next day. So took him to vet, got stool tested and of course came back positive for parasite/worm, also notably underweight. We got him started on the medication for parasites and started on heartworm medication as well. Luckily, he has done great once properly medicated, fed and taken care of, with no further issues to come just yet in the one month we've had him. She did offer for us to return him and a refund of the money, which we declined, could not imagine placing a puppy back into whatever type of living conditions it came from. I will also mention my husband told me that the place of pick up of the puppy aka her house is not where the puppies came from, she told him she was selling puppies for a friend, my best guess is she gets commission off each puppy and her friend the breeder/puppy mill gets the majority of the cash. I understand sometimes medications take time to work, being improperly vaccinated or wormed or whatnot, but honestly how can you miss itching, bald spots and a hourde of Black fleas and eggs all over a dog. Absolutely disgraceful and she should be ashamed of herself and the care she provides to these innocent animals.
Sells Dying Puppies
Nicole Blogett sold us a Parvo puppy that died, too. The puppy had Parvo when we bought her, but we didn’t know that at the time. Our vet diagnosed the puppy a couple days after we bought her. I saw the test. It was a strong positive for Parvo. The puppy was dead within a week. Nicole is hiding behind a "no warranty" clause. She said the puppy was “off”...

Please read the complaints carefully some are just comments others are a couple years old. I do help animals and I have many pages of good references on the sites that manage my ads. They are impartial and allow for negative reviews with supported statements from a vet. Sometimes you just can't make someone happy or resolve an issue no matter how you try. Please contact me for specific information. Come visit my home and see for yourself the way we treat our animals. I do not do any breeding. We train and transport, as well start house breaking. Give us a call and ask for the link to my real review page.

We got a puppy from Nicole Blodgett in December 2010 that almost died from PARVO. She denied that the dog was sick and refused to pay any of the vet bills. I would recommond getting a puppy from someone else.
I purchased a puppy from Nicole B in 2009. He found his forever home and we LOVE him. Nicole did a great job for us. THANK YOU NICOLE. Lisa K Hobart, IN
If I leave someone a message does it go straight to the person I messages or is it shown on the complaints page?
How is it that you sleep at night? You are responsible for the deaths of so many innocent puppies! What a cruel person you are!
What can we do to get her out of the business?
Nicole Blogett sold us a Parvo puppy that died, too. The puppy had Parvo when we bought her, but we didn’t know that at the time. Ourvet diagnosed the puppy a couple days after we bought her. I saw the test. It was a strong positive for Parvo. The puppy was dead within a week. Nicole is hiding behind a "no warranty" clause. She said the puppy was “off”, but it was probably due to a worming. We believe her and bought the puppy. We fell in love, spent $300 in vet bills, and the puppy died…all in one week. Nicole refuses to refund our payment to her.
We cannot have a new puppy for a year. Our vet said our house is contaminated with Parvo now and will not be safe for a new puppy for one full year.
My picture profile shows the puppy. You can see why we fell in love. This poor puppy is now dead. I don’t know who let this puppy get Parvo, but I do know that Nicole’s property is now contaminated with Parvo and she is still selling pups.
My heart goes out to everyone here. I know your pain. I agree with the person who said that Nicole does not care how much pain she puts puppies or people through, as long as she can get a couple hundred dollars.
Puppy Mill seller
Nicole Blodgett sold us a puppy with parvo. She is NOT a breeder. She purchases puppies from mills and sells them for profit. She has not refunded our money. The puppy only lived for 2 weeks from our purchase date. Unwilling to help us or refund our money. She sells on NextDay Pets and PuppyFind. BEWARE!
Sorry to hear about your puppy. I am appalled that she is still selling sick puppies. Please call Ingham County Animal control. She needs to be stopped. Her place "looks" clean because you can not "see" the parvo and other numerous illnesses she has on her property. She is NOT a "rescue". You can not register a rescue dog with the AKC. She gets her puppies from trunks of cars, truck stops, and newspapers...I have had to 1wait a year to get a new puppy because the2 parvo virus can live in your home for up to a year...her puppies are not properly vaccinated. Do not take another puppy from her...for it will be sick too. She has made her money from you and is now done with you...sorry. Please research before you buy online...better yet...buy from someone you know.
I have never seen more lies in one paragraph than what Nicole has written about me. Feel free to cntact me if you are thinking of buying from this" unofficial rescue." I didn't know that you can get AKC papers from a rescue dog? By the way, check the names on the AKC papers...you will not see Nicoles name? hmmmm... The puppy was riddles with fleas, had a hernia, intestinal parasites and PARVO. I have 6 vets affadavits. I recieved FULL RIGHT AKC papers...she did not care what happened to this puppy. She has also been harassing me through emails, which have been copied and sent to the proper authorities. PLEASE STOP HARASSING ME! I will not comment any further here. My son has suffered enough!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
She is still at it...stupidly purchased a golden retriever pup from her...he is currently at the veterinary hospital receiving treatment. I have filed complaints with PayPal and am hoping to get my money back. We are trying desperately to save the puppy's life!
Wish I would have read these reviews before we bought our puppy.. unfortionately I didn't and now, 2 days after purchase we took our 8 week old boxer to the vet and found out he has the parvo disease. He is now in the animal hospital and will hopefully pull through but she has not returned any of my calls and I would never recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a new puppy. :(
OH MY GOSH. im shocked. im soo glad i tried to see who this person was on facebook, before sending her my deposit for a dog... couldnt see forsure who it was, but an ad on the side poped up saying this websight... i was suppost to pick up a dog from her this week. 200$, and its 16 weeks old. i already have one dog, and i surely do not want to bring home a dog with parvo and have my current dog get sick. wow. im speechless.
Hey,
Me again, copied this -

She sold 2 dogs in 2009 For $250 - no profit there. She obviously needs to do a better job - needs to test animals, unfortunately - euthanize if needed.
If Nicole is vaccinating and then a Vet re-vaccinates - this could cause death.
Nicole - Do you vaccinate? Why and how are involved with 400 dogs a year?
She is still doing it - You need to get with the other complainers on this site and have her shut down.
Some one do some legitimate investigations on her - she who she is connected with.
Start now before she can move. I have no cards in this game; just hate to see animals not being taken care of and then ### wipes profit for it too.
She is probably connected with a lot of people - just a guess.
Beware all! Nicole Blodgett is pure evil, DO NOT buy her puppies! Ours came ridden with parvo and giardia, but seemed perfectly healthy at the time of sale.
What type of person would continually inflict this type of emotional pain of families for a measly few hundred dollars in her pocket? When it happened to us we thought it was an isolated incident, and gave her the benefit of the doubt - it is so frustrating to see that she is STILL selling sick dogs and the authorities are STILL allowing her to do it. We met her husband when we came to buy our puppy, he seemed like a nice enough guy at the time. I'm very surprised that he allows her to continue doing this.
I have already paid some money towards a puppy I am suppose to be getting by next weekend. Now... I don't know what to do? Should I cut my losses or finished paying for a puppy and try and save it's life, knowing that it might die anyways? Has anyone heard of her using a different name... Stacie Fish? My friend is in the same boat, buying a puppy from Nashville, Mi. and both Stacie and Nicole have the same ways of going about buying the puppy and there are a lot of similarities between both women? Or maybe her daughter's name, that is working the same scam together? Please I need advise!
I also received a dog from Nicole with parvo two weeks ago...luckily he survived. She also refused to refund any money...claimed she felt really bad that the dog was sick but continues to have puppies for sale at her residence knowing that dogs leave there with parvo...I called the county humane society but there wasnt much they could do...next call will be animal control. She MUST be stopped...I dont know how she sleeps at night.
I have a question for the person with the complaint . How is it that your dog lived for 2 weeks with Parvo ? Did you have it seen by a licenced Vet within a few days of bringing it home ? How many previous vaccines did it have, and how old was it ? These are some pretty important facts you need to have handy. Parvo can come on pretty quickly, like within 2 days after an exposure. There is a high number of puppies that catch it and die, and there is a minimal number that catch it and live.
I hope your heart can mend, I would suggest getting a puppy over 16 weeks old next time that has had several vaccines - just incase the parvo is still looming around your house.
Nicole Blodgett also sold us a puppy with parvo in April 09. After one day of having him, he was diagnosed with giardia and parvo. We spend $1000's of dollars saving him, and lucky for us, he survived. Unfortunately, the owner of our puppy's owner, who also bought from Nicole, did not survive. She refused to refund our money and told us it was our fault. (Our vet informed us that the puppy clearly caught both at Nicole's house). I put a complaint on her website, which she then erased the next day. When I complained to the website, she then took all puppies for sale off the website. I complained to the Animal Control in her county and tried to spread the word as much as I could. Please contact me if you have any further questions. Our puppy is now 1 years old, alive and well, but we are still paying his vet bills. I am happy to help stop this woman from selling puppies with parvo. She refused to believe that she was selling sick dogs, however, several people contacted me after I posted on her site, with the same complaint. I can be contacted at: rainwedding@gmail.com
