Sickly dog
We purchased our first dog from Heather in 2005 and he was the light of our lives. When he died of a hemangiosarcoma we were devastated and decided to go back to Heather. We purchased a maltipoo on April 9, 2016. We did not get to see Heather, and again, we did not get to see the parents of the puppies. Our dog has been very sickly, coming home with...

We purchased a dog from this business. Our dog was sick within a day of bringing home. The owner offered to "exchange" it. Who could exchange a new pet? He claimed he could nurse it to health. We had to take it to an emergency room. The dog was in and out of the hospital most of the first year of life. It was finally discovered that it has IBS and will for...

I purchased two female Yorkshire Terriors from this breeder last month. After several hours, I called Jason to say that I thought one was having trouble breathing. He told me "I was worrying too, Mom" and that "as long as they are playing and eating, they are fine." Well, both dogs got worse. I took them to the vet two days later. Both dogs had kennel...

(I tried to had feed him). We contacted Jason and he is very rude. He said to bring...

We purchased a male puppy from this business. Charlie, a male Yorkshire Terrier, has been suffering with many health issues. These conditions were diagnosed by more than one veternary hospital. He had ear mites, kennel cough and a cold, intestinal parasites and will always have a misformed leg. This leg injury was diagnosed is occuring by "traumatic onset at a very early age." We took Charlie to the vet within two days of purchaing him. The vet was very dissapointed about Charlie's conditions and indicated that Charlie was likely not purchased from a quality breeder. Within a week, Charlie's "cough" was worsening and we took him back to the vet. He suffered several weeks with a heartbreaking cough until the medication finally cleared the condition. When I called to discuss this with the breeder, Jason was less than helpful. He belittled me and indicated that i could bring the dog back and he would be treated there or I could get another dog. At that point, I decided that I would not take Charlie back to be treated by them as I was not sure what they would do to him. Additionally, since owning Charlie, I have met others (in pet stores, etc) that have purchased dogs from this breeder. They have indicated that their dogs or friends dogs that came from Pampered Pets have health ailments as well. Additionally, we have discussed the various conditions at the business and the barn that the dogs are kept in. I am deeply concerned that a puppy mill is being operated and I would like to do anything that i can to help the dogs that are there suffering and would like to prevent others from purchasing a dog there. There are other breeders available from which to purchase a dog. We learned our lesson by not doing more research on a specific breeder before purchasing a puppy.

I am sick reading these comments. Friday Aug 14th I bought 2 nine week old yorkies. I had a vibe while I was there from some observations but then just thought I was over analyzing. Brought them home and the one was not as spunky as the other but I attributed it to new home. Few days later I felt something was wrong. Ended up taking them to the emergency vet. They were both gone the next day. I had kept in contact with them and not once have they said sorry this happened. In fact Jason was rather rude and I called him on it. They are not responding to my calls or texts this eve. I am so sick and devastated over these puppies.

Where did you buy them from? We bought a 13 week old Bichon from Heather (and Paul) 4 years ago this week. He has been perfect from Day 1. They were recommended to me by a co-worker who had purchased 2 puppies from them previously. We had been scammed the previous week by a breeder online. They were in Edinburg, PA then. www.furyourlove.com I wondered how they had so many different dogs. I also wondered when his AKC certificate came that there was another name as the breeder. I had paid for 3 generations of AKC bloodline and they are all AKC registered. I thought that was a positive. Reading all of this now makes me sick. I have New Castle Pups in my phone for them, but different phone #s.
Not sure if this is them now...https://northeastpup.com

I bought a sick yorkie (I don't even think it was one). It had cruddie eyes, and kennel cough, and was expensive. It got my other dog extremely sick and she had to be on 3 different antibiotics. DO NOT but from these lying religious thieves. They also have numerous lawsuits under PA web dockets. They need shut down!
I personally know (5) Morkies purchased from Heather and Jason within the last 6 years. Every one of them had kennel cough and still have issues to this day. I could tell you other things about the people but it doesn't really have anything to do with the dogs. I would not purchase or trust these people.

Hi Bellas Mom. I contacted Heather to see if she had any relatives of Gunner after he passed, asked alot of questions and pictures of her current puppies. She did not answer my question she did sends pictures with no information of the puppies, age-breed etc. In the mean time I contacted a local friend in the Reno/Sparks NV area who is very actine in the animal world locally. She put me in touch with the PUPPIES UP FOR PAROLE PROGRAM in Carson City NV. We have adopted RAZZLE a 14 month male Bichon mix who is wonderful. We are working on some issues but are seeing good progress. Good luck in your decsion on bringing a new member into your life-it's a hard one.

Gunners Mom -- I agree with you. I bought a Maltipoo from them 5 years ago. Bella is a very healthy dog (although your post scares me). I am looking to buy a sister for Bella and am a little concerned about the posts above. Like you, I suspected that it may be a puppy mill of some kind and felt that I was saving Bella from possible bad treatment! What to do!

I have mixed feeling here. I got a Bichon Maltese male puppy about 7 years ago from Heather. He has brought such joy to us. He has been a healthy, happy wonderful addition to our household until this last Friday night when he passed away. It appears he had a mass and he died of a possible heart attack. Very sudden and no warning. Regular vet checks, good food, exercise, normal weight and I am heart broken with his loss. I am exploring my options about getting another puppy soon. After reading these reviews, I am very torn about dealing with Heather and Jason. I had suspected it might be a puppy mill but I also thought I had saved him from possible bad treatment/living arrangements.

I purchased what I thought was Yorkie from these people. Turns out it was a Morkie! We didn't know the difference when the dog was only 8 weeks old. They are liers!
We bought a Yorkie right before Christmas and he was at the Vet's within two days; almost died within eight days. He had kennel cough which led into pneumonia. Terrible breeder and totally uncooperative. I would never ever recommend that anyone in their right mind deal with Jason. He is nice when you buy the animal but then refuses to talk to you afterwards if there is a problem. Save yourself time and trouble - don't buy from him.
