Ruined my feet
I bought and used the "Ped Egg" in fall of 2010. The very next day I could barely walk. My feet were so sore and cracked they bled. After almost 2 years my feet are not any better if not worse. This was a BIG mistake using this product and the company should have to pay all the people that had the same problems I have. You can not even imagine the pain and suffering I have went through. I wish I had NEVER bought this horrible evil product. Deborah Rena Patterson Aug.21, 2012.

Only 1 out of 3 blades that comes in the package works
I agree with one of the review, I bought twice the replacement blades, only 1 out of 3 blades that comes in the package that works, 2 of them basically flat flat...I guess that's how the company makes money.
I like the ped egg, it works very well, it just it bugs me now that I am being ripped off buying the replacement for 9.99 thru bed bad beyond, and only 1 blade that work.
Awful product, dangerous for your health
Originally had a little dry edge at around the very end of the heels due to wearing sandals in a dry climate. Lotion helped but decided to try Ped Egg . BIG mistake. Now have a much larger area on the heels that feels like sandpaper. The only way to get rid of it was to keep using the egg, so heels were either raw from scraping or calloused and rough...
Read full review of Ped EggI used the thing and the next thing i have painful bleeding heels
I was excited to hear about ped egg because i have dry heels due to the beach in my back yard. So i use the thing and and the next thing i have painful bleeding heels. Its been four days now and my bf noticed that my heels are worse than they were when i didn't use it. He throws the ped egg away and i am stuck with cracked heels. I tried lotioning twice a day and nothing. I don't recommend it to any one.
I cannot find any ped egg that will give me the full satisfaction
I purchased the ped egg over the telephone a few years ago. When I first bought it, I thought it was an excellent product and I used it all of the time. Then I started buying it from drug stores or any store that sold them. That is when I stopped liking the product. The problem was and still is that the blade on the ped egg that I purchased previously was much sharper and is made differently than the ones that the drug stores and other stores have. The blade on the peg egg I've been buying from different stores are very dull so I stopped buying it because I cannot find any ped egg that will give me the full satisfaction like before.
Now I'm living a nightmare!
I too thought this was the answer to my dry heels. Now I'm living a nightmare! I used it ONCE back in November of '08 and my heels were sore and red the next day and I've been running to doctors and dermatologists ever since! I am now scheduled for a biopsy next week to find out exactly what condition I have and how to treat it. I have thick patches of...

I was so amazed when I saw the ad on the ped egg and knew i just had to have one. I am not a complainer (nor the people that I knwo that have been using one as well) but I am now( and them too).It has ruined my(their) feet. My feet were not bad before this but I had to go the old fashioned way and this was going to be a time saver for me and at first, wow I was so pleased but over a period of time it has caused my feet to peel big time on the bottom and I hate the way my feet feel it is disgusting I have been working on them now for two weeks and still have not straightened out the mess it has caused my feet I will not sure but you may want to reconsider this item before some one does.

Awful experience
I purchased ped egg b/c I always took very good care of my feet. I thought it would be an enhancement to my foot care regiment. I was delighted at first. My heels were as soft as the palm of my hands. The next day my heels were very sore. They remained this way for a couple weeks. Now I have horrible crusty heels. I hate that I ever bought this product. There should've been a warning!

Rebate check scam
I ordered Ped Egg from a television commercial and received the product (two for one offer) in the mail. Several months later I received a "rebate" check for $8.25 and cashed it. Apparently the check, when endorsed, signed me up for "Buyer's Advantage" at $139.99 which appeared as a debit to my checking account. PLEASE read the back of "rebate" checks before you cash them!

Ped Egg and Shoppers Advantage are a big rip off! Look at the small print under the amount of the check and you will see "By Cashing or Depositing this check you are purchasing a membership in Great Fun*!" Geez what a scam. I was one like the other person that bought the Ped Egg, and was promised a rebate. I received the check a couple of months later, and I though wow the rebate check! I didn't think anything else about it and I deposited it. Well the next thing you know I was charged $100 some odd dollars, for a service that I did not request! I called them and yes they did refund my money as I did it right as soon as I saw it on my bank info. I just got off the phone with Shoppers Advantage to try to get the checks to stop coming as I get on about every two weeks! I am tired of tearing them up! I had to wait about a half an hour for someone to answer the phone, and lets see if they really take me off of the list! They said now I would also have to call Ped Egg too!
I bought a ped egg about a year ago. I just recently discovered that a company has been debiting my account for a year now on a monthly basis, $16.95. When I called the company known as "Membership Services", they informed me that I joined when I made an internet purchase. I asked them to disclose what company the purchase I made was with and they told me this "For privacy reasons, we can not disclose the company name." Whose privacy was violated? Mine was because they are charging me for a service I do not remember signing up for, nor have I recevied any information about. The only internet purchase I made previous to when the charges starting on my account was the Ped Egg. Now I am out over $200 for the purchase of a product that really does not work as they say it will. I attempted to go back to the site that I made the purchase through and contact them about it, but you can not email them. You must call Telebrands and only during business hours of the Eastern Standard Time.
I, too, received the checks from Ped Egg but unlike most, I did read the fine print under the signature line and realized that it was a scam to get you to sign up for yet, another service that you do not want. So far, I have received 3 of these checks but rest assured, I will never cash one and hope others read this.

i was enjoying my Ped egg at first, really felt good getting off the dead skin (did read the warnings) until that night i realized my heels felt a burning sensation. Obviously too much skin had been removed from my heels, i couldn't even walk. It has been a week and i have been putting aloe on them but now my heels are choppy. I hope they heal properly. I am throwing my Ped egg in the garbage.
I love my ped egg, can't live with out it.Keeps my feet looking smooth, young and healthy.
I used the Ped Egg and I am very disappointed. It actually damaged my heals. My heals did not need a lot of work done on them. But now my heals are hard, and purple. It actually made my feet hurt. I have never had problems before with my heals until I used this product. I would not advise anyone to purchase it.
Sounds like a cheese grater would do a better job!
