unauthorized withdraws
On 11/8/2011 they took $44.00 out of my checking account resulting in a overdraw. I got the notice from my bank stating that check 999 3 for $44.00 was returned. I called my bank because we did not know what it was for. I was told it was a prewritten check by the company. The company was Players Vacation Club, phone number [protected]. I called them and they stated I had been a member since 2008? They also stated they had been taking out the fee once a year since 2008. I told them they were doing this without my consent and that I was going to have them investigated and call the police. The asked me if I still lived on Cortez, I said I havent lived there in 4 or 5 years. They said they have the IP address and verification tha I joined them. I told them I never joined and he said well we send out info once a year to all members. I said I have NEVER got any info from you. Well probably because we have the wrong address. He told me he cancelled my membership and a check for $44.00 will be mailed to me in 21 days. He gave me a cancelation number of 7649437. I asked about the $29.00 for the overdraft fee and he said we only retrn the memmbership dues, nothing else. I asked well what about the fees you state you have taken now over the last 3 years. No, only this years fees.
Our checking account has been changed since 2008, we closed it due to someone taking money out previously so we would not have the same acct number as what it was in 2008. So where they got my info from I do not understand. I look them up on google and see that I am not the only one this has happened to. This needs to be stopped.

The Players Vacation Club keeps taking money from my father's account in MY name. They take out 2 withrawls each month for $45 each. They check images say that it was an electronic fund transfer and that no signature is required. How in the hell did they get my dad's bank info and my name? Could someone please e-mail me if they can help with this matter. I can't seem to find a way to stop it. My dad's bank keeps letting the checks through. They said that I would have to call and cancel my account with them. I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!

We have never even heard of Players Vacation Club. Suddenly, out of the blue this company withdrew $45 from our checking account Dec. 6, 2017. Of course they are closed on weekends so we can't communicate with this scam operation until Monday, "during business hours". But how did they get our checking account info? This company should be put out of business, all executives need to be arrested and put in jail for theft, money laundering, felony identity theft, and criminal felony larceny, etc.
Players vacation provides its members a credit line to finance travel. Our memberships renew every year automatically unless our members cancel it for whatever reason. We issue a notice in the mail 30 days prior to the renewal dates stating exactly when they will be billed. Unfortunately we do not know when a member changes their address unless they notify us to update our records. We place our contact phone number and company name on every charge so that if there are any discrepancies a member can contact us. I am not sure why we were not contacted previous to this year, but we always give full refunds on current years renewals if the membership is canceled. Our company has been in business since 1997 services thousands of members and families with their vacations. It is never our intent to cause problems for consumers with regards to our fees, but we do state when joining and in our terms that renewals are automatic. We also do our best to keep our members informed of the services via mail and email. Again, we cannot know if our notices fail to get to our members due to changed information
