Said it was flooded. No problem. It's a Stihl. It will start. But, I couldn't start it. Took it to several Stihl stores with no success. Months go by. I have a beautiful, brand new Stihl MS660 I can't use. I was directed to a store in Downingtown. They got it started. Runs for 2 weeks. Won't restart when warm. It is under warranty. Should I replace it or...

Stihl MS211C

STIHL CHAINSAW MS211C

Purchased @April 26, 2022. A little confused with the starting procedure but after taken it back to the dealership I was alright with the new starter. First I would like to write that this chainsaw joins my ECHO CS-370, HUSQVARNA 550 and an Ryobi electric. I am very displeased. The first cut was with a tree just a little wider than the bar length but that was alright. The cover to the engine opened numerous times and came off a few times. The chain bogged down and stopped on numerous occasions. I was never able to cut through the tree because of all the chain stops and cover falling off. I finished the job with my ECHO 370 without any problems. This product is a total waste of my money and time. I will be replacing it with another Husqvarna 550 as mine has seen better days. I would highly recommend that no one purchase the MS211C.

Desired outcome: Replace with one that works. I would not want the same model as I have seen far too many reviews and only one positive comment.

Dealer never warned me about, after hard start, to leave my Stihl chainsaw idling during warm up. After start up, I went to hookup my lawn trailer and when I returned with it my $300 new saw was burned up. Plastic parts were melted, oil delivery system was destroyed, chain brake was not repairable. pent a lot of money tying to make it work, because Stihl...

Stihl Chainsaw

I purchased a ms391, based on excellent reviews. I also own two other Stihl older Chain saws. Why is it that all the Stihl saws are a real pain to cold start. Usually on my old Stihl saws a shot of starting fluid and they start. This ms391 won't start unless I just get lucky. I'm very disappointed with this. The dealer just says I got to learn how to get it started. Why is it such a temperamental machine? Vdry unreliable for a "Farm" saw.

I purchased a Stihl chainsaw March 22, 2011 and had used it 3-5 times when I noticed there to be a potential engine problem. I took the saw back to the dealer who shipped it off to Stihl to examine. They came back with a determination that it would cost more to repair the saw than what I had paid for it. I contacted Stihl to see what my options were. They...

Bought Stihl ms250 3 years ago to cut about a dozen small trees. Worked well for 3 years with moderate use. The chain brake burned out and the chain is a boat anchor now and Stihl and the dealer couldn't care less. Gassed up the saw after 30 minutes use, fired it up and set it down as I turned to put gas can away and put my goggles and muffs on (a minute...

Stihl Equipment has proven unsatisfactory

Stihl string trimmer: Leaks fuel. This cCuld kill me. Dealer says the problem was caused by ethanol in the fuel. But I don't use fuel containing ethanol. The Trimmer head won't feed string. The dealer says to soak the string in cold water. That didn't work.

Stihl Chain Saw: I Took it to the dealer three times. The first two times, he could not find problem. Finally found problem. Gear broken. Did not want to honor warranty.

Stihl Blower: fuel cap leaks, spews gas.

Stihl is not sold at "big box" stores. Coincidence?

Stihl is pronounced "steal". Coincidence?

my stili chainsaw has a problem not aiways running up to the rpm's witch will burn the blade up and the bar. I BOUGHT IT AT TRI BORO IN CARLISLE. PA. At first they tried to fix it . Then it would flood out and not start. Lost nut on bar 1 st using it they charged me for a new nut, I just you should always check there work. Now I'm back not running up to speed again can't get it looked at for at least 10 days. Now all I get is a run around. So to sum it up I guess I'll take it were the sun doesn't shine.

Unless you have a gas station in your are that sells 100% Gasoline, which most don't, then you have ethanol in the fuel. How do you tell there are stickers on the pump, some more cleverly hidden on the pumps, by law that have to disclose that the fuel may contain up to 10% ethanol Alcohol. This is used to decrease some pollutants cause by the internal combustion engines.

The problem is that most 2-stroke and small engines have real issues with gaskets and fuel lines used in them when introduces to Ethanol alcohol.

Stihl Poor product

Ms250 Sthil. Folks, being my second post regarding Sthil, has got to make one take a real hard look, at this product, company, and the way it does buisness. Sthil has a closed door policy, regarding its dealers, warranty, and product. Their sales slogan, of nothing runs like a Sthil is true. Sthil runs from being concerned about the product, service, and customers issues, being non respondent. My issue with the ms250 saw, shows that Sthil upholds its deales, that way they can sell more junk, they make, the dealer was correct in saying to me. "They dont care about you. They hear complaints everyday, go after them. They dont care about you."

Never enough said. Sthil- junk is what the make, do, and support.
