The General Insurance accident claims

May 2017 we purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe. 10 months of $324.00 payments, $1 750.00 down and over $2, 000.00 in repairs we had to use the warranty to have an engine put in. During the test drive an The General insured ran a stop sing and the General determined our vehicle a total loss. They declared the value to be $3700.00. My whole driving life I was told I would be made whole by insurance companies. The dealer was made whole and I now have a bigger loan. I was half way paid on the totalled car. I am out all the new parts and work on the vehicle. Now I am paying for a different vehicle to rebuild. Please explain how I am whole.

May 2017 we purchased a used car from a dealership. We had the alternator replaced in the beginning. Then by Oct 2017 we had over $2, 000 work done. Feb 2018 it was in the repair shop for an engine replacement. Another $2, 000+ repair. So far $9, 000 + is in this car and it is only half paid for. While test driving after the engine replacement it was hit...
