Ticketstub.com This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam! Ordered tickets for Les Miserables in August for a January show. They promised to have my tickets to me by Christmas, but the date kept getting pushed back. I called over and over again only to be told everything was find and that my tickets had been reserved. Then two days before the show they emailed me the tickets. To make things even worse the tickets I received were not the ones ordered, and weren't even next to each other. When I called I was told that it wasn't so bad that we weren't sitting next to each other. I ended up buying tickets at the door. Stay away from this company. A total scam!

Ubbake ... this is Ira from Ticketstub.com ... I own the company and I can assure you that there are no scams whatsoever that we've had any part in over the 12 years we've been in business. We take lots of care to make sure our customers are happy and we offer a 100% guarantee as well. I don't have an order number to check the details you speak of ... but I can make clear what happened as to the shipping date. You purchased tickets that one of our sellers listed openly and clearly will be shipped close to the event date. I'd prefer not to include those listings personally as there can be delays at times ... but more often than not the tickets go out before the promised date. All of the brokers in the system are held to a high quality standard and are held to task when they don't keep up that high standard. If there was a problem you could have called our customer service any time 8 a.m. to 8.p.m. and they will be happy to help with any issues.

Since I don't know the specific broker that supplied your tickets I can't speak to the exact experience you had with them. But I can ASSURE you that had you called Ticketstub.com directly and made us aware of the issue that your seats weren't what you ordered ... yet alone next to one another I personally would have made sure that it was rectified. No one associated with Ticketstub.com would ever say, "that it wasn't so bad that we weren't sitting next to each other." and if you contact me with all the order information as well as who made this completely out of line statement I will get to the bottom of the situation. I understand that you were unhappy with the experience you had and I wish I had been given the opportunity to assist you with it. Ira Zoot • Owner of Ticketstub.com

Ticketstub.com Did not receive tickets until the day of the event

Did not recieve tickets until the day of the event even though I ordered the "online" optio two months prior. When I called to ask about the tickets the evening before I contacted the "emergency line." I called at 2:00am and left a message. 20 minutes later I recieve a call back when I explained the situation to the man on the phone. "The concert is tomorrow at 7:00 pm and I will be on the road until then. I still do not have the tickets." He responded with "Are you serious? That is your emergency at 2 o-clock in the morning? Can't you just pull over at a kinkos or something?" If that's not a ticket emergency... what exactly qualifies as "an emergency?" And what good would pulling over to a kinkos do me if the tickets were YET TO BE SENT to my e-mail? Extreamly rude service. Will never use ticket stub again.

I bought Toronto Raptors tickets through ticketstub.com. After the scalper-priced tickets and ticketstub's very inconvenient 'convenience' charge (surprise!) I had paid about $140 for two $35 tickets. Imagine my surprise when they were not only twice the price but they were also standing room only! You would think any respectable company would warn you about that BEFORE the purchase but ticketstub.com is NOT a respectable company. I know that now. SCAMMERS! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

I'd have to agree with Kochnev. If you ordered the tickets 2 months prior and it was email delivery, you should've received them way before the day of the concert. I understand why you called at 2 a.m., since you just wanted to be sure you were going to get your dang tickets before you got on the road and before you went to sleep.I would constitute that as an emergency..but at the same time, I would've tried to contact the seller at a normal hour like say 6 pm. if at all possible. You got stuck with a crappy seller, sucks.

I also wanted to include I came across this review when I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to order my tickets. This review made me really nervous, but I went ahead and risked it and ordered anyway. It was worth it because I had a smooth and pleasant transaction/experience. I ordered my tickets around 11 pm. the day before the concert & my tickets were emailed to me by the seller at 8 am. Such a risk, but I'm glad I didn't get stuck with a crappy seller like Kocknev. Good luck!

Ira, why didn't you just send the tickets on time? And Kochnev - why didn't you check with them prior to 'getting on the road'? Is everyone just stupid?

Hi Kochnev,
If you had a problem or concern all you needed to do is call me directly ... Ira Z. at the phone number
on the site. I would have been happy to get any issue you had taken care of. You called the seller that
supplied the tickets ... not Ticketstub.com. So I apologize if they were rude or out of line ... I have no
control over that.

Another thing I wanted to mention ... you stated it was 2 am in the morning. I cannot speak for the
seller but I know that our office isn't open at that time of night. So there really isn't much that can
be done until the beginning of the work day. I feel safe to say that there isn't a ticket broker out there
that is open for business at 2am that would be able to do anything but an operator to help place an
order if that.

In any case, sorry you had an unpleasant experience with the seller. It's not the norm ... we've been
in business since 2002 and I can count on one hand the problems we've had that resemble your
experience. This is why there is a direct line on the front of the site ... but if it is 2 am in the morning
it isn't going to be responded too until business hours. Not because I wouldn't want too ... but because
the business isn't open and there is no one to address it.

If you called between 9am and 8pm central you would have gotten someone to assist you or that called you back shortly thereafter once they finished the orders they were working on. It sounds like you got your tickets and I hope that you enjoyed the event after all that. Again ... sorry that you were unhappy with the service of our seller.
