Time share
My husband and I paid $2225 to Transfer America to have our name taken off the deed permanently. We signed an timeshare agreement 03-07-2011 and are still trying to get our name off the deed. Transfer America turned our "file" over to Pacific Transfer company in January 2012 to "complete the process". We still are waiting. After some research, they are the same company, in the same building. After several phone calls we are now giving up on any hope of title transfer. Transfer America does not come close to their guarantee or to keeping their guaranteed timeshare relief solution promises. Look at their website. They promise and agree to (1) "completely and permanently terminate client's entire ownership of their timeshare ; and (2) Completely and permanently terminate all client's future financial responsibilities regarding their timeshare". They don't pay the timeshare resort their promised maintenance fees, and after several phone calls and late payment notices, sometimes pay 2 months late. Do not do any business with these fraudulent business persons. You will regret ever having heard of them. We do. Run, don't walk away from any association with these crooks.

My complaint comes from their phone call tactics
I was contacted to go to a meeting regarding my time share property. I went and was shown videos indicating how bad it is to get into time share in any way or form. They lead you to the place where it is a liability instead of a property of any worth. This may be true.
My complaint comes from their phone call tactics that when I asked them specifically what they will do for me they would not answer and of course lead you on to go to the waste of time meeting where at the end they want you to pay them $3500 to get rid of the timeshare you have. It was a complete waste of my time and gas to go to this meeting. It is again questionable if all the letters they showed me that people wrote thanking them for their service- it could be written by anyone. If you get contacted by these people my advice is not to waste your time. They should have JUST said that is what they were doing up front!
Slowness of service
We became engaged with Transfer America in about October of last year (2010). We were instructed to continue paying the maintenence fees through December and then we were to inform our timeshare company that we were becoming seperated from our timeshares and the responsibilities of fee payments. We did exactly as instructed. Three months later we received letters from our timeshare company that we were late in making the required fee payments and that the fee collection may be turned over to a collection agency. If we had been made aware of the progression or the lack thereof of the aquirement of our timeshares by Transfer America we would not have been so shocked and dismayed when the notices for late fees were received. We contacted Transfer America by fax and phone but we did not receive any updates on the timeshare aquirements until March of 2011. Transfer America finally told us that our timeshare company was the one dragging their feet in this matter and they were responsible for the delay in conveying the transfer of our timeshare and they were calling and writing to us about the late fee payments. Is this a prime example of the left hand not knowing what the right hand's doing? I may very well write a testimonial in this very medium about their actions next stating their company name.

Scam alert
Transfer America AKA Timeshare Relief AKA Transfer Smart is a complete and total scam. First of all its a shell company for timeshare relief who bilks people out of up to $4000 to "get rid of" their timeshare. Yeah they CHARGE people to take their timeshare. David MacMillan owns this company as well as 3 or 4 other brands that all do the exact same thing...
