a scammer tried (but failed) to get me!
Hi everyone! Thanks for all of the postings because otherwise, I too would be in a world of hurt! Especially because I first checked this out with the BBB and they made it sound like a legit company! But my 6th sense led me to look further and I found this site, for which I am so grateful! Thanks so much to the genius who created it! So on 1/19/18 I get a call and only hear enough of the scammer's voice to know that it's a guy (because we are quickly disconnected). Then a text: "Hey sorry about that, guess I lost connection, but I was calling about the 2008 subaru.." "Is it still for sale? I really like it!" . Then "Would you mind running a vin check on your car for me from http:/vinvalidationreport.com and send a copy to my email at
[protected]@yahoo.com that would be awesome." He was calling from [protected]. He also wrote other stuff that he thought would excite me - like "Once I have a copy of the report I can meet you with cash!" When I asked where he lived he didn't answer but instead wrote how much he moves around - "5 cities in 5 years!" Personally I'd love to see his next move be right into a prison!
cuss words used
Person called at 10:55 on October 27 from [protected]
He asked for a name I did not understand him as he had an accent.. Then asked was I the person at this number (not exact words) and when I asked why he said "f--- you." I was appalled and when I asked him the name of his organization he said - the f -- you company"
Of course, I hung up the phone,
It upset me. The call was from New York

blue care network of michigan
This company has the worst customer service reps ever. I signed up in march of 2017 after my son was born. Made the first payment, waited a few days to to check if it went through and it never was debited from my account. Instead it was debited out of my mother's checking account somehow and they had no explanation as to how that happened. The next month I paid again and still didnt come out, it stated my account didnt exist, which is weird I pay bills the same way every month for 15 years. The next month I paid again and it went through, but just when I thought it was all worked out. They closed my account because they said I havent paid my bill in months. Mind you, i've sent them documents from my bank showing that I authorized payments to them. Never deal with blue care network. They are a bunch of [censor].
professional automatic hair curler color black
It was broken during shipping. A piece is broken off. I would like it replaced. Tracking # lt298819384cn. Please advise me as to what to do to get it exchanged for another one. Also it is poorly wrapped for shipping. Its wrapped in only a plastic bag and put inside a thin shipping bag with no bubble wrap or padding. Not even a box. It does get hot but does not grab the hair to curl it. I am not asking for my money back, I just want it replaced for one that works. Please see what you can do about it and also perhaps get better wrapping for its shipping so it is protected from getting damaged.
pug puppies for adoption (pultney)
Texted [protected] for information on the puppies available for a reforming fee of 300.00 . The location is within 1 hour of us. We were informed there were 2 remaining. The person texting sent us pictures of 2 pugs she said were left. She offered to sell us both for 600.00 we agreed. My daughter verified the address, at that time she was told that the person was in the process of moving when she posted and now was in MD. My daughter asked for the new address which she was given and told the person she would drive there to get the dogs. My daughter and her friend arrived at the address at the agreed time and was told there was no dogs there. They didn't know anything about it. She had texted us several pictures of a females arm holding 2 pug puppies. My daughter had another lead on a puppy in MD and called him. He was caught off guard when my daughter said she was in MD and wanted to come over. He never responded with the address. Prior to that he had offered puppies for 388.00 including shipping. His phone [protected].
These people obviously want you to send money. I always do business in person. Would never mail a stranger money. Just pissed off that they wasted our time and money to travel to MD and spend a night in a hotel. As long as my daughter was in MD her and her friend called, texted about 15 other listings from Craig's list and other internet sites and found that each person was not in MD as originally stated. When my daughter wanted an in person, they broke off communications. Seems that 90 percent are scams!
So my wife and I decided to buy a pug and contacted a individual through email on a pet website on August 29th 2016 (sorry don't remember which one). We shortly recieved a email followed by a text from this number. This person went by the name "Collins Breane" who had sent pictures and information and said it would cost $300 for one and $500 for both. When we told Collins that we only wanted one of the dogs he then stated it would cost $99 for shipping since he recently moved from Detroit to Washington D.C. We were informed that we could send a moneygram through Western Union and once payment was recieved that this person would ship the dog on a plane and we could pick it up at the closest airport. Unfortunately my wife had sent the $400 to a Collins Breane 3530 S NW St. Washington D.C 20007. The morning of August 30th my wife recieved a text message about 10:00am saying the money was received and that the dog was dropped off at a courier service called SafeRoute along with a shipping number. (website: www.saferoutee.com) We proceeded to check out the website and put in the shipping number and although a little confusing it seemed legit. So about 3:30pm my wife recieved a call from a number by [protected] in which someone who does not speak very good english had said they sent a email (info@saferoutee.com) and we needed to finish the process before the puppy would be shipped. It was a bunch of basic shipping information along with something stating that WE needed to pay $850 for insurance and crate because that's how they do it. That is where the first real red flag went off. My wife and this barely english speaking male had a couple back and forth conversations along with texts. The guy at this Saferoute company said we could pay with credit card and than shortly after said their credit card system was down and that we could Western Union the money which is another huge red flag. Meanwhile dealing with this company my wife was talking to this Collins Breane person and after we had enough of this B.S. we decided to drop the whole deal and try and get our money back. At this point this Collins person started texting my wife trying to give her a guilt trip that we were horrible for leaving the dog there all day and they talked to the company and offered us another option with Western Union and more. I do not have the text or emails but are saved on my wife's phone. I sent this person a message and that was it. I'm debating on what to do. Should i contact the Police? FBI? NRA? As of now i'm out $400 and not happy and i don't take lightly people ripping me off. So soon we shall see what happens.
The same thing happened to me. She offered to sell me her last two puppies for $500 total. She advertised as being in Albany, GA (which is close by me). When I asked where she loved so I could pick them up...she moved to DC.
This is wonderful because I was told the same stuff by two different people said that they had two puppies sent me the same pictures they want payment before they want to hand over the dogs SCAM-so mad that they would do this to people the other one was for a Bulldog and same situation. THey want the money sent first um not in my world. Hope they get caught do not buy from Craigslist unless they are in the area you live and willing to meet with the dogs. Will never do this again. Scammers! Makes me so mad. Run as far and as fast as you can! DON't SEND them anything
case number calling
Called and said they wanted me to contact them back or they will proceed with filing the case against me, turns out is just a scam. Automated computer voice that calls you, when you call back, you are on hold for a long time, then nothing. All scam.
