membership
I informed the Village Gym of me moving home and if they could cancel my membership as I now live too far from them (approx 144 miles from their gym)
They responded by saying we need evidence of your new move before they could cancel. I responded back I wasn't prepared to pay another extra month just to wait until you receive my proof. They are now threatening me with a debt recovery company. I have read their terms and conditions and cancellation is permitted when moving home.
The gym and staff
we have been members of the village gym for a year now and the last 7 months have gone from bad to worse, with attitude of staff, the weights all over the place, twice i have seen needles in the gym changing room and gym staff being inappropriate with female members along with unwanted flirting, me and my wife were training in the untidy state it usually is when a staff member asked us to put the dumbbells we were using " mid set " i said not untill we had finished as we were using them ! there is hardly ever blue roll to wipe the benches and hands with and the only answer we get is " we have run out " well village you have lost 3 x 45 pounds a month membership as we are not getting our moneys worth
