I brought a Saab truck and was financing though Santander and paying on the truck good for a long time charges never went down after paying on truck for a year it was horrible dealing wit this company I have all my info please help this is my payment agreement finance charges not on here as of now they are saying I owe 7000 after I let truck go u pay twice for the car now I am being threatened

I bought this used car back in May 2015 due to my disabled mother, and I was told by the sales rep at Victory Honda, That i can refinance it after 1 full year of making payments in the amount of $513.12 at 27% interest plus western union fees $2.50 each month. I've tried to refinance this Honda Civic almost every other car dealerships have told me that Santander consumer are a bunch of crooks and they will never do business with them. Now I'm stuck with this loan and it's so depressing for me and I can't afford it.

Unfortunately I got a car loan in Aug.2013 6yrs term . I am 5yrs and 9 months into being done and my car was repossessed. I've been making payments every month and was told a few random ones were missing over the years...How? I am $29, 000 into the payments. Loan was $12, 000 with 26% interest and they still say I owe over $11, 000 Im no mathematical genius but they are screwing me.

Purchased vehicle August 2016 $15000 making a 442.42 per month payment and still owe 13500. Intrest rate 20% too high and I cant get it refinanced. I'm seriously considering giving it back. They told me after 1 year of consecutive payments I could refinance . It has not happened yet. They never show a beginning and ending balance on your statement. Most of the payment
goes to intrest.

Over the years the have taken duplicate payments out and have been an all around horrible company. The supervisor I spoke with got very nasty with me and I had had enough and told them to come get the car, they have it as a repo, when it's a back out. I tried to talk to them rationally and was civil, until they were not. One had nothing but trouble with them from day one

I can send a copy of my payments and charges. I've only had my vehicle 1 year, I missed a payment and for 2 months I was paying an extra 200 on each payment to make it up. The following month they said I had 570$ worth of late fees, on top of the missed payment so that month I made a full car payment plus the 570 to get caught up. The next mother I paid a full car payment and a week later they call and I have another 230 of late charges and of course I'm mad bc I just paid the 570 to pay all that up. I don't know what to do, 1 missed payment of 460 cost me over 1500$ that's ridiculous!

I got an auto loan from Santander Consumer USA back in May 2014 they told me the best they could do was a 24% interest and at the time I did not know that that was actually usury rates unless you agree to it. I was promised at the dealership a 4-year warranty and I was also told that after a year of making payments on time my interest would go down and my car payment would be $100 less that has never happened and I was told by Santander Consumer USA that that was never true to begin with.

Illegal practices and consumer harrassment. My principal for my account has not gone down. If one payment is missed or late, their harassing calls never end. This loan is the worst loan I ever signed up for. My Gap policy didn't even cover everything on my car either. I had to pay for a new catalytic converter(because it was not covered) not to mention the car has so many issues. Very upset with this company.

My auto was reprocessed in which I was told what my 3000 would cover and the break down, when I paid the fee about a month later they called to find out if I had picked up my car stun I made my payment to the directly. Once my account was update non of my additional charges was paid off and I was charged additional fees that was not told to me by Santander. I am constantly getting told different information and being ripped off every bill that I receive. The most Incompetent company I have ever seen in my life.
excessive interest for car loan
Car loan - owe more in interest after paying $23K+ and still owe $19K+ for a car that's worth $10K car. We deferred our load and they added who knows how much and they apply only to my interest all the payments. Out of the $23K+, only $3000 has been applied to our principal.
Santander also call to ask for payments when payments are not due. They call almost everyday. After asking for a transcript or payment history of how payments have been applied, they said they would email it and mail it, after 5 months, we still have not received. How can we make payments without knowing what we actually owe.
Our payments is $689 per month and can't get anything from Santander Consumer USA. One of their representatives told us the interest per day is around $40. $40 x 30 days is $1200, no wonder we cannot pay off our loan and we have had the loan since 2013.

Most dealerships I've tried to trade the car in says that I was given a ridiculous APR and deal by Santander. They said 75% of my monthly payments only go to APR and 25% to the loan amount
I tried calling Santander to see if I could get a better deal, but they said no.

I was overcharged in interest as well as principal balance increases. There was no consistency in their payment allocations. I was misled and ended up paying double for the car. They were payed $60, 000 for a $31, 000 dollar car. Miscellanies fees were also added that were not explained. I was told that they would not give me any more information about my case.
paying to much money back to santander
I have been having my vehicle since 2009 and I purchased that vehicle for 13, 000 dollars with 4, 000 dollars down payment and it's 5/9/2019 and they are still saying I owe 1800 dollars. September of 2018 I was told that I had to payoff only 1200 dollars which I paid back in September and as of 5/9/2019 they are threading me with a repo saying my total payoff is 1800 dollars.

I written you last year and this year in efforts of joining this Santander lawsuit both times I was told and attorney representing Claimants would contact me What I got was a email stating that no more attorneys were available u did this may of last year and this year to no avail. Now I think that this is a scam as well as Santander This bank will bleed you dry I paid interest only for 6 months come to fine the terms were not made clear a d they know it ..If I am not a part of this lawsuit I will be seeking my very own council and when I am done I promise heads will roll

In summer of 2017 I was trying to the pay the back loan payments since my husband job had slowed down in winter. He called them to talk about Putin deferment on the loan and paying just the interest, so we could get caught up. We were never told anything about the accumulating interest. When we signed for the loan we were never asked or told anything about GAP insurance.

Got a car loan from them and after almost 1.5 years I see myself owing more than i initially borrowed... Im not understanding how is that possible. Yes I was late a few times but I'm not understanding how my balances always rises it never goes down. I am stating to believe this company is a scam. It is horrible. I purchased a 2006 toyota avalon with santander financing. I paid the car off 9/2018. Months before paying the car off. I called costumer service because my balance should have been lower and payoff should have sooner. I kept getting the run around and customer service didn't help. One time they applied a payment to my account from another account. My dad was the co-owner of the car, he has a vehicle financed with santander for another vehicle.

I have been with them for 2 years they have made me pay twice the amount of what the car is worth and I missed 1 payment now its not 6000 its 8000 they also charge a high interest rate they are fast to take your car if you dont make a payment I also have tried to speak to them about refiancing for smaller payment but there not willing to work it out that way

I called Santana pertaining to my April payment $860 I was informed that my payment supposed to be 871 at 11% annual rate but my contract stated that my payment is 852.47 cents each month at 10. 21 % rate they also charge me $180 late fee for 2015 on my account when paying over on my payments, of 860 to 900 dollars a month. I was also informed that my contract has the wrong interest rate of 10.21 the supervisor said it supposed to be 11% and it came from a major car dealership. Santana has overcharged me and still overcharging me since 2014 when I went into a deferment until-now
