I had problems with the quality of this breeder. My puppy is OK now - and once you bring a puppy into your home, if they are as unique and precious as a new baby - the health guarantee is useless... you have to return a dead dog or pay for an autopsy which means you can't properly lay your pet to rest if it dies w/in the first year -- or pay for a procedure to verify the cause of death has something to do with the breeders actions and that cost could exceed what the puppy cost. My puppy is going to be ok, but the promises on the website about how lovingly and individually the puppies are eac treated, as well as particular steps that are taken for their pre-placement care were not truthful. I was told of a problem - told a vet diagnosed it, but was given no record of that. I just had a feeling he needed a home and so I took him at a discounted price which no I find was excessive. I discovered at the first vet visit that the problem is much more severe and not what I was told at all. It could have even happened through trauma. Of course we will give him a great life... I am also aware by this puppies behavior that if he hadn't endured a physical trauma -- it was an emotional one and not as minor as neglect due to coming from a huge puppy factory.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
puppy factory...thats a new one !
so you are admitting that you bought your puppy from a puppy factory and now you only have a problem with doing so cause it had a lil problem that cost you some money.
You people that always make up crap about breeders only after your purchase is bull crap.
you are a crappy puppy shopper and shouldnt own a dog. Dont buy another dog. Dont anyone out there breed a puppy for this person.
breed your own puppies in the future !
I just bought a GoldenDoodle from Jackie Simon 2 weeks ago.
She is a beautiful puppy .
I took her to the vet and she is in excellent health.
Jackie does have a lot of dogs and puppies, but this is her life. She loves these dogs.
I would highly recommend Simon's Poodles to anyone looking for a puppy.
Thank you so much for this review, I want a first puppy from Simon's poodles in early 2020 and I really wanted to ensure she wasn't a puppy mill. We have so many in Amish country, OH that it's hard to find good breeders anymore. I really appreciate your comment!
I bought my puppy in July 2010, and he too was healthy and LOVED. He followed her everywhere...in fact I hoped he would learn to love me like that. I'm lucky that he did but I am so upset to hear someone say something so awful about the care of her animals! It is only one opinion...and here is mine: She is a good breeder with a lot of dogs, and she loves and cares for them all! If you have questions all you have to do is ask her...it's that simple!
I was in the process of getting one of her Toy Poodles called Cinnoman girl back in January, 2012. Jackie is a talker and she does have far too many dogs to breed in very short timewise. I do believe that she is a Puppy Mill. Plus the fact, she's gone up in price of $100 - 200. for each puppy now. She's unable to do all this work - and I wouldn't buy anything from her. She's hasn't even got a registration from the state of Ohio - (Ohio is known for puppy factories.)
Jack is FAR from a puppy mill. I have known her for my entire life. I would take the time to type out many, many of the wonderful things that she has done...but we would be here forever.
However, I will tell you of one to show how kind she is. A couple who had purchased a puppy, whom they fell completely in love with. They lost their beautiful baby just a few weeks shy of being two, to an aneurysm. Nothing that could of ever been detected. (it's part of life) They called to let Jackie know, because they loved him so much. Jackie took it upon herself to let them know if and when they ever wanted another one, she was there. A few months later, they contacted her- and Jackie blessed them with a dog.
This is just one of the hundreds of stories I could tell you. Jackie LOVES her dogs, all of them. Does she have a lot, yep...but they are named, loved and well taken care of.
Problem is with these sites- most 98% of the time when people are happy with things, they do not post them. Because- I can assure you, Jackie has hundreds and hundreds of happy customers.
If you are reading this site, and second guessing purchasing a puppy for her...take the time to go meet her. You will see: those dogs are her life.
I too adopted a Golden Doodle from Jackie, and we are so happy with him! We took him to the vet the day after we brought him home. The vet said he was beautiful and a very healthy boy. His temperament is so docile & sweet! When we visited the day we picked up our boy we did notice she has a lot of dogs, & yes that made me a little uneasy at first. But Jackie took us out to see all the dogs, not in any way did she come off as if she had something to hide. And it’s obvious when you see her interact with any of her pups that she lives them. Someone made mention they thought her basement was unclean. I personally didn’t think it was unclean- cluttered maybe, but she is a busy woman! Someone also made the comment that she can in no way take care of all these dogs by herself. You’re right, but she doesn’t, she has help. We witnessed two other people there tending to the dogs & she has a daughter who also helps but wasn’t there the day we went. We have been so pleased with our experience with Jackie we’ve recommended her to our friends, one of which also got a pup and are very happy.
Buyer beware. Seller has my $300 deposit and kept it. Very Unprofessional and keeping the money during a pandemic. Shame on you!
