Bad experience with SLF. The experienced and good maid which they so highly recommended actually come with no work experience and did not receive any training as the agency had claimed. The biodata was FAKE! When feedback the problem to agency, the staff will keeping avoid calls / Emails. Or simply accused employer as Pick and problematic . There is no service provided to employer as long as you already paid..
Try to aviod them, this agency not only create the problem for you, they same time take away your money.

Yup I agree totally. Two years ago, I got a filipino maid, supposed to have experienced in Kuwait and looking after children. After the phone interview, we took this maid, thinking that being a filipino, she can read, comprehend instructions from us and household labels. She spoke simple English, though not fluent. When she arrived, she was a disaster. She cannot understand us. She cannot speak ENGLISH. We had to repeat all instructions to our nerve daily. We were getting mad and impatient. She was conversing English with all that mixed up tone and pitch and it sounds like she is swallowing or singing. I was devastated and felt cheated by SLF. I asked the agent, the boss, Mr Yeo, I think... He put the blame on Wida, the sales consultant who got this maid for us. He says that this maid should not be coming to singapore and is not selected by him because she did not pass the test in Philippines. We did not go to him again and chose another agency instead. He gave us some money back, after deducting $500 as penalty.

But soon after using her 10 days later.. we realized that actually she is not honest and cause many trouble! we return the maid to the agency and again have to wait for another 3 weeks to get new maid which passport is ready to come to Singapore! The agency couldn't confirm the date and everything.! meanwhile we have paid fully agent fee, maid's loan in advance and lot of ++ fee at the end cause you change the maid... which the fault is not cause by us!
Never ever again go to SLF! not professional, bad service and not cheap at all at the end.. wasting more money and your time dealing with them!

Yes, totally agreed, never get maid from SLF Green. When I signed the contract, I wonder why there is a penalty of $500 if I do not want the 2nd maid, the agent told me "just in case" but the chances are v low cos they can pick the maid carefully. Their maid quality are sucks, customer services even worst after you rejected the maid. The worst agency that i have encounter.

Yes, right now I am having an ex-Sing Myanmarese fr SLF. She is temperamental(literally show her displeasure), has bad-attitude and super lazy/shoddy. I have complained to SLF to which they counselled her twice but to no avail. So I had no choice but to ask for replacement. But twice, SLF disappoint us and cannot deliver replacement with plenty of excuses. It's been 3 weeks and staff will not call or update and we have to continuously call. So far it has been disappointing news after news. Now I'm waiting for a return call fr SLF's boss, Mr Yeo to find out what is happening. Wish we found out about this website earlier. Perhaps the reason why they are changing 'SLF Green Maid Agency' to 'EP One Manpower Pte Ltd' because of the increasing bad publicity and complaints. Still waiting for Mr. Yeo to get back to us. Sigh!
OMG! Wish I had found this site earlier!
I have already signed up with them a few months ago! They gave me the world' laziest and dumbest maid! She was a transfer and I took her becos they gave me the excuse that the maid was mildly abused in the previous house and hence didn't wish to continue there after 5 months! She spoke fairly well after interviewing her for an hour! bloody waste of my time! I was a ### to have believed them! After 2 months I sent the dumbo packing! Everyday I have to repeat myself the same instructions! Even written instructions didnt help! Every other day I m screaming cos she has ruined something or done something wrong! The list is so long I can't even be bothered to type it out! Btw! Simply becos she is a "transfer" maid, I could interview her in person so my agency fees is over $1200 instead of the $600+! (Just the agency fees alone! theres alot of other fees which i paid too!) When I called subsequently to ask why so much more ex, they told me cos can interview "in person"!
Then I requested for a new maid. They said with "passport ready" can expedite! Said most prob in 6 week! Guess wad? At the end of 6 weeks, she supposedly didn't pass her medical in Phil and can't come till further check. They suspected that she is preg! After 2 weeks they called again to tell me that she has passed her medical cos there is a "foreign object" in her but its fine and she can come in one half weeks! When I queried abt the "foreign object", they told me dunno wad it is but she apparently cleared her medical after all. Now I m left wondering if she wants to make use of her insurance to claim for wad ever surgery here in sg after she comes to me!
Plus this second maid doesn't come "free" either despite the one year free change of maids on the contract! I have to fork out another ridiculous $600+ for wad ever fees!
Now I m so stranded! Argh! Tough luck for me going to this place. Please don't ever ever go to this agency if u want a maid at all!
Btw, I m not sure wad kind of stories or excuses they made up but apparently someone else seems to have been again too! It appears from their website that my dumbo maid has been "taken" again!

1st and 2nd Myrmanese maid both came with bad comprehension of our spoken English, so that creates tons of miscommunications. 1st actually ignore me totally and this makes me even more angry on top of her mistakes.
2nd, I totally pissed off, always said she Everyday Giddy! No Eat, Eat little bit, picky of food - refused a large half shell scallop! Keep wanting to call home and to return home, she just with us for 2 weeks, and had to send her back to agent. Bec she refuses to cook and want to laze in bed whole day. Mentally weak + Physically weak.
Do NOT take their Myanmarese maid. Rude n un helpful staff - Edna, a Pilippina.
I have a very bad experience with the maid agency. I got my "2nd" maid from them after 12 weeks upon signing the service contract. I was told to cancel MOM work permit after 2-3 weeks later on my first maid selected due to "mental problem on FDW" who was rated as "Excellent, not to be missed!". The 2nd maid left for her hometown after working for less than 6 months. Her medical report received few days after she left confirmed her pregnancy. The maid admitted to me that she has a "one" night stand with her face book's friend. The agency has been told clearly that the replacement is urgent as I am due for my 2nd delivery a week later. However the agency did not provide much help on replacement maid selection and pass me around two of their senior recruitment consultants. Finally the agent provided an estimated arrival of 28 April and yet provided no official confirmation until I had to call personally on the day itself. I was given another estimated arrival date of 10 of May before end of the business day. When I push to get them to confirm actual arrival date, I am been told that the management had decided to refund me the money of $492 out of $622+$150 paid to them as additional fees for replacement after almost 10 weeks of waiting! How can EA charge me on administrative fees and did not honour their own guarantee of replacement within 1 year period just like this? The agency is totally irresponsible!
I can only blame myself for not doing research prior to engaging SLF green. If only I have read the numerous complaints in this website! I completely emphatize with all the grouses here as I am also a victim. We signed up a maid at Hougang Green branch with Edlyn Ngo, the Branch Manager. Initially, she was all smiles and appeared very reassuring. Subsequently when there were issues, I was appalled with her complete change. Firstly, she was extremely rude and tactless! When I requested to interview maid over the phone, she sarcastically told me I can make a trip down to Myanmar to do so if I wish!? What kind of attitude is that? Secondly, when asked to watch her tone and volume one the phone (she was shouting!), she simply told me it was because I was using such a good phone that made her appear louder than she actually was?!? How ludicrous! This is one shameless agent and lies and eventually uses another lie to cover up.This is also the 1st agent that I have dealt with that actually slammed down my phone. I was furious. Her behavior completely irks me! Please do not patronise this agency if you do not wish for lies and bad services. After complaining to my colleagues and friends, then I found out that this agency is notorious and has a very bad reputation in the industry. They lie frequently and even teach the maids to lie to employers. How unethical.
I will strongly recommend to read all the comments before you decide to engage the maid from the agency.

The remarks indicated in the Bio-data by the Boss is NOT TRUE/ CRAP! (see pic)
The only conclusion I had is their boss cannot speak or understand simple English.
I engaged TWO maids from this agency.
The 1st maid will stare at you every time you asked her to do things so we sent her back after 1 week because she cannot understand simple English at all in which the bio-data indicated otherwise.
The 2nd maid which is EX-SINGAPORE is WORSE. Her attitude is HORRIBLE. She will either stare at you, argue with you or walk away when you reprimand her). Her forgetfulness is her excuse for NOT doing her things right.
ENGAGE their maid at your OWN RISK!
ONCE again, I will like to emphasize, Please DO NOT patronise this agency.
We, as a employer just want a helper to lessen our work load but in the end, the maids are the ones whom create more problem for us.
For reliable agencies, I would highly recommend prospective employers to go to Ministry of Manpower Website and check on agents before deciding to appoint one. The ratings inside are helpful to know agent's FWD retention rate and transfer rate, their experience and any demerit points. It's also possible to shortlist the good agencies so employers can save a lot of headache, money and trouble.
So I just checked the demerit points for EA from MOM and SLF has very good records. That is why I did a review search and landed on this page. Now how? Should I believe MOM or should I avoid SLF after reading things here?
I just chanced upon this website & I wish I had seen this earlier. I have taken 3 maids from SLF since March last year and none of them worked out even after giving each maid 2-3 months to get familiar with their work. Totally agree with the comments that the biodata given were not reliable. My first one from India with "Excellent English" turned out to be so bad at understanding it that after repeating my instructions 4-5 times, the maid was still staring at me quizzically so I ended up doing most of the things myself. My second Indian one was better at English but she said cooking was not her job and she took "short-cuts" with the cleaning (she came from a rich family) She also spoiled my iron, kitchen fridge, wine fridge & even air-con! My third one (Myanmarese) had passable English, but very low IQ & had spells of forgetfulness which she said was due to an accident in which she had hurt her head. She also fumed my home twice in the same week by cleaning with bleach when the haze PSI was 200+ and we could not open the doors & window. I ended up with chlorine irritation in my throat. Now I am considering to take my 4th maid from SLF, but having seen this thread, I guess not. Thanks everyone for sharing candidly
DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY! One of their reps Yvonne contacted a maid I hired through them just a month after joining on the pretext of checking up on her well-being. Actually, it was to entice her to ask for transfer. When my maid replied she was very happy working with me, they continued to call her in hopes they could change her mind with higher salary and benefits offers. I know this because my maid told me. This agency is totally dishonest. If by luck you manage to get a good maid from them, make sure they do not have your maid's mobile phone number!
Agree totally with feedback above. When one of their maids asked for transfer without any reason, instead of trying to counsel their maid, the agency rep Yvonne shouted at me over the phone and sided with the maid, because I said I would not agree to a transfer but would send her home. Only later did I find out it was because it was Yvonne who instigated the maid to ask for transfer. The maid was shocked to realize her agent did not have the power to ensure her transfer (despite their assurances to the naive maid) and changed her attitude from being belligerent to me to begging me not to send her home. Seeing I was a first time employer, Yvonne even bluffed and threatened to sue me under the contract if I did not pay for the maid to stay for 21 days more whilst looking for an employer! This agency is totally unethical. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
i have always taken myanmese maids from this agent. I am not sure if the same Yvonne but there was a burmase Yvonne at Bukit Timah under SLF Green (left early last year) back to Myanmar. I must say, yes, avoid this agency with all cost or enter into contract with them at your risk. I had so many maids, whom they said English was good but oh my, so poor. Cannot understand instructions, and bad hygiene. After 4 months, still the same, untrainable!
Well, we had the misfortune of selecting this terrible agency out of many in Bukit timah shopping centre. Gave us a problematic maid and when we want a replacement, the consultant Betty, tried to cheat us and asked us to pay another agency fee of 1288$ just to select an Indonesian maid. She went on and on about how she had informed us earlier about this cost but very clearly, it was stated in the contract that we only need to pay 500$ just to select Indonesian maid! Like as if we could not read! After many minutes of trying to fool us, I screamed at her at the top of my lungs in her office, because she deserved it. 2nd a Mayan maid fresh de. Work for 8 months thought she was good. So her first off day she went out come back a handphone. She jus secretly use the phone and kanna caught by my mum. Then she just say she wan go back agency. All crap !
3rd also a Mayan maid fresh de. They told me her eng not good. Ok nvm. At least can teach. But when she came this consultant JUNE told me that her eng very bad bad bad ! I was like ok. Nvm can teach. Now almost 5 months le. Even talk to her like wan to vomit blood.. don know is it she purposely or what! Seriously ! But I have told my family after the contract end just send straight back to Mayan instead of agency.
Hi All, i would like to comment on my previous helper as she is in the list of transfer list.
i understand agent had no choice as she still owe them payment. My agent Michelle is serving good to me. But my previous agent is betty (the worst agent I've ever seen) I just can't accept the "Kim" to behave like this. As i reminder she mention to me that she hate ironing clothes. When she just arrived my place she told me that her family is poor, so i ask if she wanted to earn extra income by help my brother to do some simple house chores. She agree, but i told her that she need to do a good job in order to earn the extra income. Unfortunately, she did not.

From recommend : Lam Hoi Kim can communicate in good and clear English. She has very suitable height and size for supporting elderly movement and to carry toddlers. She is willing to take care of elderly and children as well. Her existing employer is a Chinese family consist of Sir, Madam, Ahkong, and a 10 years old child. Her job was doing all the housework and looking after the child. She is good in performing houseworks and she can work in a big house. She can cook some food such as fried chicken, fried fish, fried vegetable, soup and she wants to learn more dishes.
(Yes, her english is good. But she will take her own sweet time doing things. She is not suitable to look after babies as she is very rough, she even hit very hard on my 10 years old daughter. Housework is not doing well, i still need to bring her to my friend house and let my friend maid teach her. i'm living in 3 room flat and she can't clean well i don't think she can clean big house. In this 1 month plus i was the 1 doing cooking. Her cooking is terrible, she fried vegetable with dark soya sauce. I had tried plenty of time to teach her cook but she just don't willing to leant, even cutting of garlic also don't know.She likes to eat tidbits and she will just eat our tidbits without asking.)
Below was what she did to us :
- Put me & my husband toothbrush with a soupy sponge (used for cleaning the bathroom) in a sink in bathroom. (trying to poison us) : Attached photo without soup as i forgot to take picture on the spot.
- Asked to clean shoe cabinet, clean outside never clean inside, after that told her to clean inside to shoe cabinet and will check once I’m back. After I go back I asked her 5 times if she is confirmed that she had cleaned, after ensuring I check still very dusty inside.(tell lies)
- Never listen to instruction given.
- Teach she how to iron but still no improvement. (Iron like never iron)
- Giving attitude (Black Face).
- Disrespect & Quarrel with my daughter.
- Did not admit mistake, even she knows it is she fault.
- Like to talk back.
- Did not clean things properly, still able to see dust inside my house after 1 month plus.
- Did not want to learn cooking even when I had shown her plenty of times.
- Spending plenty of time reading her bible. (even she is not sincere as she did not pray before meals)
- Spending plenty of times writing. (don’t even know what is she writing).
- Demand for off days, after she agree with no off days.
- Doing everything slowly.
- Fetch my daughter from school and talk to someone else, let my daughter walk home by herself.
- Did not follow as what we teach her, likes to do things on her ways.
- Things that not sure don’t even bother to ask, just do in her ways.
- No initiative to do work, do things like to do half way or never do.
Lastly, she is a very smelly & dirty maid I've ever seen. She sweat a lot so i did mention to her if she feels hot she could just go shower but she was too lazy to do so. The cabinet to keep her clothes was horribly smelly as she put her sweaty clothes inside. So when i ask her to pack her things the smell makes me wanted to vomit. A very untidy Maid.

She say she don't like my house as my house is too small.

Please remember whatever story she told about herself is for you to pity her and will treat her nice. (Don't believe or care)
But as a work from home mum i normally stays at home just need to went out for meeting maybe once a week.
When i were home i will teach her bit by bit of the house chores but she still likes to do was her way.
She did not even do a good job in cleaning.
whenever i ask her if she had finished cleaning she will reply yes, but after i checked is a no. (means that she is lying)
I could say that she could do those house chores well as she did it well on 1st & 2nd day but the problem is she is acting in the first 2 days. After the 2 days pass she tried to do the wrong things like wash dishes never wash properly (Still very oily). When i ask her why so oily she will reply me "Don't know" (Well, that is really strange. You wash and you don't know why the dishes is still oily). Not choice i washed myself. I was asking myself again & again (Why i pay her still need me to do house chores for her, as i become her maid that still need to pay her!)
After this she tried to do all the things wrong so i will do myself.
I can't take it anymore of her nonsence so i ask her to change if not we will send her back. She replied to my husband that "Sir, you wish" (meaning anything).

Update on this ep one manpower.
After checking their online maid bio data wearing their (try to create the impression their company trained image with their green colour maid uniform), I submitted my email to them shortlisted of 3 maid.
To my shock and surprise, I was told all 3 was not available via email the next working day and I start to receive several calls from all their group agencies branches trying to hard sell maid on their hand with bio data wearing other colour type of uniform and home wear clothing.
When ask why this practice of posting the maid but is all not available. they silent on the reply and continue to sent all sort of new bio data of maid.
Then I got a whatsapp from a lady claim from one of their agency.
I went down to one of their center located at level 2 of bt timah shopping center as agreed.
Oh yes. the same miss betty... lucky I found this forum. thank you mrs bear.
actually have read the lousy review earlier thought was 2017 now 2019. but I willingly to give it a try on my own. I always give people chance. as each have their own experience. I trust mine.
To my surprise, not even one maid around is for selection while the others nearby agency are seated with proper uniform maids. lousy renovation and inside a corner of the mall units.
after few minutes of introduction, this sales consultant ms betty start to enter myself into a "live interview"session of 3 maid over her lousy video conference viber via a pc monitor setup which I hardly can hear the interviewee of maid over the screen. questions that I ask she well heard it but try to skip thru it saying she busy on her hp will get back to me later... which she did not answer, while all these time I am seating infront of you.
She have no ideas or knowledge even trust of their bio-data most of it was thru the online introduction by their counterpart local myanmar maid agent representative where on the spot brief her on it.
How the hell this agency able to upload these bio-data as if they are or not under their training without having any confidence if is even true. they simply call their agent overseas and try to see who available for a live interview as and when. all of them are not in proper uniform but in their home wear.
After all these 3 interview, immediately next I was to ask to settle for one and make payment to secure it as mentioned it is extremely high demand at this month of the year. (knowing that I need one urgently next few months) my fault trusted these agency people.
Cut the story short... I would have actually going to pay her and get one of the shortlisted maid which I see my wife which is with me all these while like one of the nice hardworking girl.
If she have not done the wrong speech when coming to the end of her two hours long sales pitch. I respected her as a sales professional and a senior lady of her age.
