Having first hand experience of working at smith and Ken Real Estate, There is a number of things all potential clients or Potential employees should be aware of. the company is ran by Benjamin (Ben) Smith, possibly the most unethical and immoral individual I have been unfortunate to work with, Not only are employees encouraged to "Rip off" clients as long as the commission for the company is made, Fraud including Fake signatures on contracts are done on a regular regularly. company staff turnover is 80%. ben smith has a number of police cases pending against him as well a large number of Labour cases and issues with RERA, they wont be around for much longer. All potential future clients or employees should work for other more Ethical and moral companies that is not run by a Rogue... All information can be verified by a number of parties including other Real Estate companies, most of whom refuse to work with them, for very justified reasons.

Dear Blogger

Very interesting statement. One wonders why you hide behind the name RERA if your accusations were true? Please give me your name and number and we can have a face to face chat.

Kind regards

Ben

Would like to add all of the above is true, scam artists, one half of the salesforce is trained to con customers into thing the market is collasping and to sell at a loss while the other half tells buyers the market is growing to buy at above average thus the company widens its profits, Smith and Ken take 50% of salesmen commission so there are no standards, trust me I was unfortunate to have gone out from England to work for them, conned me as well.

your workforce is comprised of non-professional individuals. I have inquired for office space and available for viewing yet your employees didn't respond properly, my inquiry was just passed to two or more of your employee. None, of them seems interested in serving the customer.

The company I work for paid Smith & Ken (experts?) a fee in advance to provide a service and take care of our business registration. In a full 6 months, despite all protests and amid a load of excuses, they failed. We gave the same job to one of our own staff members (totally inexperienced in this) who got the whole matter wrapped up in 3 days. Smith & Ken have failed to even answer the complaint, let alone refund the fee.

Smith and Ken is a scam. In fact, Smith and Ken has had their Real Estate license revoked by RERA and are not allowed to legally conduct business in the UAE. If you are approached by anyone who claims to be working for Smith and Ken, or S&K, report them to the police. They are criminals!

Company CEO Ben Smith has moved his scam into the US. I will continue to warn the public of his past until he is personally brought to justice along with the UK criminals who are still here in the UAE who continue Ben's scam.

Beware of the Smith and Ken Team who can be identified here: http://www.smithandken.com/meet-the-management-team

Today, Smith and Ken has agreed to settle this matter. They have agreed to return my deposit tomorrow at 9:30 am. The amount we agreed to had some deductions that I do not feel is entirely fair, but as we have both agreed to the amount, I will consider this matter settled if they bring the cheque tomorrow. I will not post any additional comments regarding this matter if they make good on their word
