Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Online shopping
The issue that I have experienced was: The bicycle that was sold to me was an non roadworthy product. I bought it for my 7 year old daughter. The same day after collecting and coming home. I noticed so many scratches in the bike and the brake screws were loose. I raised this case via email to them on the same day. Then I received an email next day that they are willing to provide £10 discount for the product, which I didnt agree . In the next 3 days the cycle chain became loose and my daughter fell twice to the floor. Luckily no major wounds just scratches on her knee and hand. After escalating this again, Smyths informed me to goto a nearby store and get it replaced. Im pregnant with my husband assiting me we drove to Watford on 21st August for replacement. The Manager Mr.Mark didnt treat us respectfully and informed that her has not received any information from his headquaters and I have to take the bicycle back home. I was put into a stressful situation keeping my medical condition. When I came back and raised the concern again, Smyths is now telling me to take it again to a nearby local store which is unfair. I have been sold a non roadworthy bicycle where my 7 years old daughter fell down twice adding to that treating a pregnant women so badly and not compensating for the fuel and replacing a bicycle.
