In November we agreed to purchase a "tea-cup Shih Tzu" from Star Yorkie and signed a written contract to that effect. We paid $1500.00 for the puppy and $300.00 for shipping, only to receive a normal sized, sick Pekingese puppy at the airport. We contacted Ben and Beverly immediately regarding this issue. They insisted it is a Shih Tzu and that I would need to provide proof. So, we did get the required DNA test done which was another $72.00 and while we were waiting for that test to be completed we also incurred several vet bills as this puppy was sick, along with needing vaccinations. Now, here we are three months later and we still have this dog and no resolution despite our continued efforts and communication at getting this resolved. We are now consulting with attorneys and will be seeking justice in this breach of contract. Iniitially, all we asked for was for them to pay the return shipping of the puppy and to refund our costs of purchase and still nothing was done. Now, we will be going for full damage costs, vet costs, dna costs, court and attorneys fees, etc.
These claims are not invalid and I would never post anything damaging if it were not true or if it had been able to be resolved justly. I have copies of all documents, emails, contracts, etc to validate this claim. I am only posting this so others will beware and not purchase from this seller. What should have been a great experience has turned into a nightmare for us.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
It's just karma paying you back for using a puppy mill. You deserve every bit of misery you get.
