I have had my lowes credit card for 3 years. Never missed a single payment. Actually paid early every month and often paid the full balance. Suddenly, yesterday my account is closed for no reason. I contacted customer service via the chat option and spoke with "Dan". He saw no reason for the account being closed and even stated that he would reverse the decision if he had the authority to do so. I had a balance at the time and asked how I was supposed to pay it, but was not given an answer. I have attached screenshots of the conversation, if they will allow it. I know what this will do to my credit score and I'm trying to build my credit for a home purchase. My outstanding balance is a little less than 300. I would like to see the balance forgiven and be compensated for the derogatory impact to my credit score. I do not wish to have the account reinstated because I don't want to do business with this bank ever again. If there's a class action suit, I want in. Someone's got to do something about their business practices. I didn't violate the terms of my credit card agreement, but they definitely violated my trust and my credit score.
Desired outcome: Balance forgiven and compensation for destroying my credit. Class action lawsuit preferably.
