We moved into a flat 2 months ago in downtown dubai. All flats have TEKA appliances. We've now found that the electrical hob, dishwasher and fridge don't properly work.
This probably says something about the quality but can also be related to bad maintenance. My main problem is that Teka's customer service just doesn't come round to fix the appliances. In 6 weeks they've come once and failed to fix the dishwasher- after which I've called the service line more than 5 times for appointments without any mechanics coming round. Just terrible customer service.
Either they're understaffed with too many complaints, or simply don't care ..
TEKA is a ‘German’ company managed by Indians. Our oven is from Teka and is the worst kitchen appliances we’ve ever owned. The temperature is not evenly distributed and the staff never managed to find it.
To top it up, when we call for maintenance they never call back to arrange for an appointment and just call an hour before showing up to your house.
The Indian customer service lady said ‘it is the company procedure’ to call right before visiting...absolutely horrendous products and service
