I received a letter from these people to send $139.95 for life secrets. Well, I sent the money. Needlesstosay I was scammed and unable to retrieve the money I sent for the "inside secrets". Oh yeah, they give you telephone and fax numbers but refusal to make any refund. I again received a second installment due for another $139.95 as a second and final payment. This "organization" is scamming america. Wish there is something I could do to get my $140 refunded from these people. Sad and ripped off! Don't do it...

Greetings Everyone!

I, too have received numerous copies of this letter. I tracked down all the info from the "presorted" bulk mail postmark, etc., and all of you ae spot-on!

The letter DOES come "First Class" as stated, but you should note that the 41.9-cent printed rate is a bulk-rate charge. As the letter, return envelope and outer envelope weigh 1.6 ounces, the proper non-bulk rate postage would be 70-cents (55-cents for the first ounce and an additional 15-cents for the weight of UP TO the 2nd ounce.) So, just from the outer envelope, you can know you're "not so special".

It's a GREAT letter that follows almost EVERY SINGLE tool used by "ropers" in Confidence Games:

-Find a "mark" that likely has money or has a need for money. This is generated from lead brokers.
-Appeal to the "chump" by flattering them, showing sympathy ("I know how you feel. I know what you've gone through. I've been there myself.") This is the "pitch".
-Make the "chump" feel special and like he/her is being "let-in" on something restricted and not available to others. ("I've reached out to your PERSONALLY and this is not a mass mailing.") This is the "set-up".
-Now, show that there is a way to be better, get more, solve your problems, be rich, be loved. ("I have the secret to do ALL of those things! It works and I want to show YOU that secret FOR FREE because you are special.") This makes an appeal to avarice/greed/desperation. This is the "hook".
-Get the "mook" to "set the hook" in their own mouth by saying the "secret if FREE". It makes it seem better when the con encloses a return envelope to generate a sense of urgency. By adding in a "deadline" it heightens the awareness of the "chump" and entices them to "act fast" so as to not miss out. Note that the return envelope contains NO pre-paid postage:. It doesn't need to: suckers will always put their own stamp on scams such as this to not miss "deadline". This is the "press".
-The "dupe" responds and gets the second letter stroking them yet again and then reveals that for a "greatly reduced" price they can get the "full inside secret", but they have to "act fast". This is the "putting the chump on the send" for more money.
-Now, all the sender has to do is collect money and delay any meaningful response with excuses and explanations for why the full set of materials never show-up. Eventually people give-up due to frustration, won't report it to any authority as it's a further hassle, and will likely NEVER admit to ANYONE that they got scammed because of a fear that it will make them look stupid to others for falling victim to such a pitch. This is the "blow-off" of the "mark".

This is they way it's been for HUNDREDS of YEARS and it works like a charm to this very day.

Smarten up, Folks! There's people out there that want to "skin" others. If you read this, you just received information MORE VALUABLE than you would ever get from promotions like this. AND, wonder of wonders, YOU REALLY DID GET IT FOR FREE!

Today was the first time I've ever received a letter like this. I'll admit I was intrigued at first but as I read each page the more it sounded just like every other scam letters. I'm pretty sure anything that was legit wouldn't be sending a printed out form type letter. Oh and would at least put in a postage free return envelope. The first thing I did was look up the address on envelope and found this site. I'm glad to see you all saw it for the scam it is. Shame on those people for ripping people off this way. God provides me with what I need.

Received 2 letters, one from "Tom", another from "Mike", all the same rhetoric you all mentioned.THIS IS A SCAM.Right now I am in possession of almost 30, 000$ in checks from scammers wanting me to cash these checks and buy certain pre-paid gift cards and take pictures of the front and back.Oh yes, and calls from Social security, IRS it goes on and on.I received a call one time from an IRS agent claiming Law Enforcement had found 2 murdered bodies at one of my 2 homes in Texas in one of my many vehicles. They had my name, and just enough info.I hung up.IRS nor Social security calls you personally.Called the Inspector General about all the checks I was receiving and they mailed me a printout paper to write it all down. They aren't interested in doing what they're paid to do.Bottom line, I burnt all the checks and have never lived or owned anything in Texas
The whole world is the Devil's and he has only a short time.Dont fall for it

I got a letter today, what got me was if they "knew" me as well as they said they did, why did they call me Mary instead of Mary Ann? I live in a low income elderly apartment complex and I'm very concerned whether any other seniors got this letter so I decided to look online so I could show the letter to our service coordinator and see if she could send out a flyer to warn everyone to stay away from this. I once had a pc problem and thought I was calling McAfee and instead dialed a number that labeled themselves as McAfee but they weren't..they got access to my laptop and found a "virus" and offered to clean it for $250.00 which I was very upset about because I had a contract with McAfee..so I refused and ran a directory of my C drive as they did and found NO VIRUS! I called back and asked them why when I ran a check on my c drive I couldn't find it..they said, "Oh, you know about computers?" I said yes and they hung up on me and when I tried to call back, the number was disconnected! So terrible! I quickly learned my lesson and am very cynical of everyone now..thank God I did some research..the sad thing is a lot of people fall for this, , we have everything we need in God, the world is desperate to find happiness in "things"..we can only find peace in Christ even if we have nothing but Him..God bless everyone.

With God, we've got it all. These people need to find him. Happy that they didn't scam you. I thought it was satanic when they mentioned skull and bones being beneath them. Stay strong, and informed.

What about someone reporting it to the post master general? I'm going to. They should be able to locate whoever is doing this. As I got one a few days ago, thought it was a scam when they used Saul alinskis technique's.
