Sub: Refund of money for the trip cancelled by Thomas Cook India Ltd
Dear Madam/Sir,
This is for your kind information that we, myself Dr Debasish Chattopadhya and my wife Dr Mrs Debjani Chatterjee had paid an advance of Rs 1,60,000 to our local TCI office at Salt Lake, Kolkata on 16.07.24, cheque no 000316, Bank of Baroda, Rajarhat Newtown branch for a Kenya Tanzania trip which was scheduled to depart on 17.08.2024. The money was deducted from our bank account as per the message received from the bank.
However, on 09.08.2024 we were informed by Mr Sujit Roy, sales executive from TCI, Salt Lake branch that the trip has been cancelled due to inadequate travel strength. We visited the Salt Lake branch, TCI the same day and applied for the refund. We were assured by Mr Sujit Roy that our refund will be credited to our account in roughly 10 day’s time.
