I ordered DVD's online from TimeLife.com after I saw a commercial. I called to check on my order since I did not receive any shipping information. The rep verified my order and shipping address. After waiting 2 weeks the order still did not arrive. I called again and was told to wait. I waited & called again. The rep said the shipping address was incomplete but assured me it was sent to the incomplete address and I should receive it. I called again after not getting my DVDs, they send they would send out another set of DVDs. Again, I did not receive my order. I called again. In the conversation with the rep, I asked how my order was sent. I got THREE different ship methods in the course of the conversation! I asked for a full refund the REFUSED to refund my money. I spoke with a supervisor who said I have to wait 30 days from 'their last ship date' to request a refund. I told them they have continually lied about my order, that I do not believe they have any intentions of sending my order. I reported them to my bank and made a fraud claim against the company. I also have reported them to the BBB in Iowa. I still have not received either of the DVD sets they said they shipped. I would advise that this company should be avoided.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
couldn't agree with you more. hard to believe they are getting away with these business practices. well, maybe somebody will take them on eventually.
I couldn't agree with you more time life is an absolute scam of a company
I have no idea how they're still in business
I placed an order and within 10 minutes went to cancel it because the person I bought it for already had the collection
I was told that the order could not be canceled because it had not uploaded into the system that it takes 24 hours.. time life then ship the order out at 6:00 in the morning.. not during business hours
they refuse to send a call tag.
7/29/22 this place is borderline criminal. I suspect the CS i spoke with on 2 occasions is not in or are american. The whole experience seemed 3rd world shsdy.
