Shona Feasey conveyancer from TLT Attorneys started process to transfer property in December 2017 and in January 2019 (13 months) it is still not transferred. We complied with all the requirements but still we are stuck. Bills, property rates, levies and costs are piling up and Lawyer Shona Feasy has been giving unfulfilled promise and the property is still not transferred. The deal has affected our family ‘s well being, increased worried and stress and we don't know where else to go for help. We made countless reminders and request but no progress. We rejected some questionable transactions eg. 1. wanting R4000.00 to find municipal plans of which estate agent did for R350.00. 2. we rejected her demand for us to sign a form only to realize a loan approval she said was to pay for services. 3. she said she lodged in +-July and Deeds office returned transfer papers as sizes differ but could not give us reference no. She promised to comply and lodge again by end of October but it never happened,
Please help us transfer our property and get us out of this serious mistreatment. We also posted complain to Gauteng Practice Council out of frustration. Whichever will give us urgent help from drowning in debt.
It seems that you are not the only sellers who have been mistreated by her. Who did you lodge complaints with? U need to do the same
I note this use is in Dubai, which is not a client of ours in South Africa. We therefore suggest a withdrawal of this comment.
Further, there is only one complaint and therefore the statement is incorrect.
Good Day
As the director of TLT Attorneys, this statement is quite untrue. In this instance, the client failed to mentioned that she built over common property in her complex, without consent and without proper plans. In this instance, consent from every sing bond holder in the complex must be received, as it means they've built onto someone else property and therefore the size of their property, must be adjusted.
Further, the client failed to mention that, due to the above, new Surveyor General Plans were to be drawn and registered with the council (one cannot give a purchaser a property which is not up to safety code). Further, this client refused to pay for these plans to be drawn, and still has not, to date. The agent and all parties offered their assistance, to which she refused.
This matter was resolved at the Legal Practice council at the of 2021, I therefore am unsure why this matter is registered on this complaints board as March 2022. As we have only 1 registered complaint compared to others in our industry, we are proud of our customer service and encourage any one who would like to enquire about this matter, to contact myself directly. My details can be found on our website at www.tltattorneys.com
