The computer game Two Worlds II was advertised on the above site for pre-order for a digital download. I was asked to pay up front for this game and did so. I have never received my download links. It seems that the only seller with the rights to be retailing this game in the UK is to be Amazon. Gamesplanet cannot supply me with the goods for which I have paid and are advertising this game for sale under false pretenses. They are not showing any sign of giving me my money back either. Don't buy from this site!
Hi Petrolz.
I am contacting you from Gamesplanet and we are sorry to hear you been experiencing issues with our service.
Please note that we are indeed licensed re-sellers of the game Two Worlds 2 in the UK and if you have pre-ordered the game on our website you should have received your download links on the day of the release.
If for some reasons you still have not received your confirmation email (make sure you have checked your spam filter), please do not hesitate to contact our customer support via the webform you can find in our website.
We are sure your problem will be soon solved.
Please keep us posted about any progress of this matter writing to support@gamesplanet.com, put "to the attention of Marco" in the object of your message.
Thank you,
Marco
@Petrolz
Greettings Petrolz, can you confirm what has happened since Marco contacted you? Many forums have complaints, Marco comments, ...then there is no follow up. DID gamesplanet actually follow through and provide you with the items?
Your info would be useful...I pre-ordered off them recently, then found all these scam posts about the company. Therefore I am trying to decide if I should wait for my order or get onto my bank asap for a cancellation?
Yoru advice would be appreciated.
Thanks CROM
Hello CROM1,
We can confirm we are definitely not a scam (and we hope Petrolz will show up again to confirm this).
We understand that customers experiencing issues with a service may feel the need to vent out, but please rest assured there is a customer service (as mentioned above) which can answer all your questions and doubts.
Thank you,
Hello Marco,
I did finally get some response and am satisfied the company is legit. I contacted THQ in my panic and they put me at ease. As for contacting customer service, the response time is slow, so I think its fairly natural customers seek information anyway they can. Unfortunately I only found negative reviews about gamesplanet so it wasn't very confiding as I waited for support.
My last ticket was sent on the 17th of March and still no reply. So YES gamesplanet is `real' for any who have not heard of them before (like me) BUT I am yet to finalise my first transaction, still waiting for support.
Overall, I'm hopeful Gamesplanet can improve the service system and make things easier for both vendor and customer.
Best wishes.
Hello Crom1,
we cannot seem to find any unanswered tickets opened on 17/03/2011. Please check that your spam filter has not blocked our reply, otherwise do not hesitate to re-send your request or open a new ticket, and we are sure you will soon get a reply.
Thank you for your feedback.

uk.gamesplanet.com ? i have feeling its scam thats why i start searching and i will start another threat here and another wesite if they dont give me my damn download link and activation key
i bought it from them to get instant download - BUT - after payment they say you have to wait few hour to send u the code! thats mean they are reselling incase they are not scaming -OR- they are realy scams!
Hi everyone,
I have made the payment 96 hours ago, and still didnt get the activation code.
it is ridiculous to seat and wait for something u paid for.
I have sent alot of complaints to their customer service but still without an answer.
Gasmesplanet lost the spot
i am getting the same feeling here ... more than 16 HOURS waiting for the activation code ... more than 3 emails to support ... NOTHING ... very frustrating to know that the money is out of your pocket for a service you are not getting. i mean, is this site for real? what do they expect consumers to do? i am very disappointed about the matter ... so i am waiting a little bit more before i start making HAVOC online badmouthing this TERRIBLE site ...
Same here I bought Skyrim and haven't received anything yet, support hasn't replied. My payal payment went through but the site still wants to 'validate' my payment..
I am waiting for Tera to be validated. 4+ hours now. i am getting worried and wish i read all the terrible reviews i have seen everywhere.
Even if it comes through in the next x mins i think i will avoid them like the plaque now.
I completely agree with the comments on the OP about the length of time it takes for them to send an activation key.
However, I was just pleasantly surprised after getting a response from customer service resolving the issue - less than 5 minutes after I had mailed them.
So OK, it's not great that there was any delay at all in purchasing the online game - I don't agree with the company stance of 'well it takes a few hours to validate payment' - as there are lots of companies offering the same digital download products that don't have this wait.
Marco, if you do pop up on here again, perhaps you could answer a question for me... do you hold the game keys yourself at gamesplanet or when you get an order for a game does that kick start an automated process of you obtaining a gamekey for the order from a 3rd party? e.g. the publishers.
While buying they never tell you they are gonna delay the delivery for 8h. I tried to cancel the order before the order was sent but seems they didn´t even read the mails and tickets i had open with them.
I received the key almost 11h later (even when I said i wanted a refund and cancel the order) and it's not even working while installing the game. Since then I've been sending more mails requesting a full refund for my order and they didné answer any fo them. This is a shame.
I'm doing a chargeback at the bank. Seems it's the only language they understand.
I pre-ordered a game through them recently. After further investigation, I'm getting a bit worried I'm gonna get screwed out of my key. I've sent them several emails with no response. Sigh.
