United Vacation Network is using a false pretense to get people to sign up for a program that claims you can get better deals by joining their "club." Well after further review, this is not only not the truth, it is a downright lie. United Vacation Network recently in Loveland, Colorado including asking for $5000 for a membership to a club that does nothing for you. In addition, the marketing company being used ACE Marketing is in violation of several federal violations including theft of services and violation of the Federal Trade Commissions do not call list.

But, here is the question I pose to you? Why would you pay for a service that is not going to give you any discount above travelocity or orbitz? They make these claims, and tell you how you are going to make money with their company, but if you look and see there are several, several claims here on [redacted].

I called the company to see if they could answer any of my questions including why they called my house and I was on the DO NOT CALL list, I was referred to a Marketing company, ACE Marketing. Well I asked if they could explain to me the [redacted]s and well I was told there was none while I was staring at them online.

Furthermore, I was told this was an attempt to set an appointment with me for UNITED VACATION NETWORK. I said I wasn't interested in attending any meeting and I was on the do not call list and who should I contact about this because they were in clear violation of the law by contacting me.

I was given a number in Dallas... I call the number in Dallas and they told me they do not set appointments and had not used that marketing company for anything in several months. Why am I being misdirected. The company they first claimed to be then when I said I was on do not call they changed the company the claimed they were calling for? Then I tell them they are in violation of the law and they direct me to another company who said this was about the 20th call they had received claiming such...

This company must be a fraud. Where is the discounts? Where can you save me money against online booking, but better yet who do I contact to collect my money for violation of the FTC rules and regulations regarding the do not call list? Why are their so many [redacted]s against this company? Why are they marketing under false pretenses? Why are they violating federal law? What makes this company different from all of the other fraudulent companies? We will be investigating this further.

I am dying to find out the answers to these questions. This company, if there even is one doesn't even include their address on the web page so I can contact them by certified mail to send them a cease and desist order. What a fraud.

I am so embarrassed to state we just intended one of their presentations in Jacksonville. They offered us all kinds of free trip vouchers for attending. We did not sign up. We are newlyweds so financially it was not affordable to us. But they offered this program for 7995 with 299 register one time and 225 once a year fee. By the time we left they offered us a deal with no monies down the price came down to 2500 and still the the one time fee of 225. They gave us to June to come up with the 199 register fee and payments of 63.00 a month and the 225 not due until Dec. They sent us on our way with a bunch of gift vouchers. Now we almost got this deal it sounded so good. But my new wife being the way she is says sounds too good to be true when we got home decided to put the name in the internet and see what happens. This is what we got this site saying it is a rip off. We drove hours and hours to this presentation also. I am glad we did not due this but I am sure the others that were there did.

I attended a seminar yesterday. It is all lies. They were so upset with me for asking questions i knew they had lied about, and had no answers. I feel so sorry for the 2 couples who had signed up for their bull s---. Since i have looked them up on the internet i have found so many law suits and complaints. Their address is: donna loher (owner) 3960 east bay rd, largo, fl 33771.

And yes my husband and i both took off work to attend this presentation. We did receive a cruise paper to send in but then found out it would cost aprox $280.pp for this so called free cruise. I could book it cheaper on line myself. I think we need to file some kind of class action suit against these people for fraud to protect the less knowing and elderly.

They also use the name of sun coast travel. So beware. They are in cocoa today but then will be in Melbourne tomorrow.

We were ripped off too by United Vacation Network and would like to get our money back. If there is a class action suite against this company we would like to know about it. Thank you.

I ended up getting hooked by United Vacation too. So far I'm not seeing any gains, only expenses. The free cruise lure is truly a lie - the "taxes & fees" added up to the cost of trip offer from a local agent. If there is a class action suit I want to know about it so I can join.

Your complaints are right, and that marketing company is actually owned by United Vacation Network or owned by the same guy and his mom. That's why they keep their "customer care" department separate from their marketing department. The owners are Donna Loher and Nick Congleton, if you look up their company in florida corporations, it looks like they haven't made their filing. What legitimate company doesn't file it's papers... http://sunbiz.org/scripts/cordet.exe?action=DETFIL&inq_doc_number=P04000165886&inq_came_from=NAMFWD&cor_web_names_seq_number=0000&names_name_ind=N&names_cor_number=&names_name_seq=&names_name_ind=&names_comp_name=UNITEDVACATIONNETWORK&names_filing_type=

I work for a TV station that would love to bust UVN, Sun Coast, Sun Travel (or whatever else they go by).

If you've been to their seminars or is a victim of this group and live in Oregon or SW Washington, please contact me:

My husband and I attended one of this programs in Feb of 07'.We were promised a free cruisie and much more.We feel like we got suckered. We filled for our trip and paid the fees.Almost one year later we finailly heard from someone about our trip.We had ran out of time to take the trip and lost it.They did refund the fee money. But,the Vacation Network is a rip off.We were also told by the man whom signed us up we could with draw from the program at any time.THIS IS NOT TRUE.We contacted the number on our monthly statement and were told if we stop payment we would be sued.I have done much research and can not find who is in control or runs this company. We have also had trouble tring to use this program.I also contacted the hotel with held the program. They told me this Network was legit. To all who may read this don't get suckered by these people. We are now paying payments on something we can not use.We are making payments until 2010.If anyone has info on this group or lawsuits againist this group. Please email me.To anyone else doing research on this group-DO NOT ATTEND!IT IS A RIP OFF!If it sounds to good to be true it is.To the person tring to catch them in the act.GO GET THEM!There should be someone or thing out there to protect people from this type of rip off.THIS IS FRAUD!

I wonder if they are bluffing about suing. I think you should stop payments and see what happens. If they are in the wrong, they won't sue and they will be worried you will sue.

We bought in too! I missed the deadline for the cruise because I was hesitant to pay fees. They seemed to be almost as much as a an internet deal - with no $6000 upfront charge. They do have an office in Largo, FL. I drove to it, being close and got a tour. I just asked for my FREE 1 week stays at a resort. It's a small, so so 2 bedroom cabin. With the processing fee & upgrade for 2 br, it's $53 a night in the smokies. Not bad, but not worth the $6000 + $225 a year fees. In my opinion, they board legal with an intent to gain from human behavior. It did sound so good when we heard the whole presentation. Now over a year later we are booking our first trip, and I wish I never attended! If so attorney wants to pick up this one, I'm in for a class action suit.

John in Colorado. United Vacation's address is 3690 East Bay Dr.Largo Fl 33771. I personally visited that address last year at this time because I was having problems with them concernin a European trip. Now having said that, there was an article in the Pasco Times (part of the St. Pete Times) this morning stating that UNV "went inactive" in October 2007. I plan to call the Florida Attorney General's office [protected]) and Florida Consumers Services [protected]) tommorw to see if they are still registered. If they are not I plan to stop my payments to them and await the call from their lawyer.

DD - United Vacation Network is not registered in the state of FL. I personally called Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. [protected] or [protected]. You can also go online and get a complaint form which I did. I received a letter from them within a week with more instructions on what I could do to help them investigate my allegations.

We talked to a lawyer today. His advise is to file a complain with the state of Florida, attorany gereral. A class action suit would not benefit us because they will just file bankrupy and we would get nothing back. The state can seize their property and sell it to pay all who have filed back. When you file a complain with you should also ask if you can stop your payment...since Florida is investigating them they most likely will say to quit paying them. You need to file a complain to be listed if you want any money back.

These idiots harass me via my cell phone on a weekly basis. NO ONE should ever respond to any gimmick that bothers someone via phone.
Those of you who have been scammed should look into a class action lawsuit. The various phone numbers that they are calling from can be traced by authorities and eventually they'll be caught and hopefully proceuted.

We filled a complaint with the Florida Attorney General a few months back. We heard for the office this week that they are in meetings with United Vacation Network/Suncoast Vacations Attorneys. They hope to meet with the owners shortly. Their comment was that they are working to shut this company down and get money back for those who have filed a complaint. If you haven"t filed a complaint please do so today.

Unfortunately my husband & I attended a seminar two years ago & purchased the service. We have had to fight to use it the ONE time we were able to work it out. Has anyone determined how to get money back? I want out as the service is a complete joke, but of course, they do not respond to anything other than cashing my checks. Any information or advice would be appreciated.

From a FORMER employee:

To everyone who is a member to any one of the below listed fraudulent companies:

... I wish to say that I am sorry... I had no Idea this company that I worked for was like this. Please take this information and do what you have to do with it.

Royal Palm Vacations, Travel Services USA, United Vacation Network, Suncoast Vacations, Suncoast LLC, World Vacations, Imperial Incentives... and many more names... all the same company... many different lawsuits with Atty generals and the state of FL... All ran out of Tampa Bay... (Largo, FL) actually.

For all of you Royal Palm members... there is NO office in Nevada... we were told to tell you that so you could not find where they were...

Google any of the above listed names, or look on ABC Action News of Tampa Bay... and search any of those above names... you will see big news reports of scams...

They never have any vacations available to you... if you place a request for vacation, they will respond "sorry, no avail" which means no availability... when they never even check. For airfare, we used the same websites that you at home do... travelocity, orbits, and expedia... then we would add a percentage to that price because we had to make some money too... So, all this company does is take your $3000.00 - $6000.00, and your ASC (Annual Service Charge). Then they sit there, and do nothing except to reply to you..."sorry no avail" and continue collecting your ASC every year...

To anyone who is a member of any one of those listed fraudulent companies, ... I highly suggest contacting the Florida Atty General, and the Nevada Atty General... good luck all...

FYI: Christy Daniels is the Office Manager (she was in prison for a few years because she was running a fraudulent business before working for these companies... funny huh?!), Amanda is the office supervisor... and the owner of all those false and fraudulent businesses is... Nick Congleton.
