On january 3, 2020, at approximately 10:00 pm, my husband and I went to the fullhouse café at the gila river hotel & casinos at wild horse pass after attending a show at the casino. My blood sugar was low and I was feeling faint, so we just wanted to get a quick bite to eat. As we were waiting in line to be seated, along with a few other people, another couple walked in, walked right past all of us in line, sat at the first booth and began eating their food from ling & louie's, an adjacent restaurant. As the two of them sat there laughing, the hostess finally got around to seating us. When I complained to the hostess, she said there was nothing she could do about it, so I asked for the manager. When the manager came to our table and I explained the situation, she also said there was nothing she could do about it. Then, she proceeded to tell the security guard, at which point the security guard approached us in an aggressive manner and told us that they were not willing to say anything to the couple, nor ask them to leave because "they were paying customers of the casino" and that if we did not like it, that we could leave, which we quickly did.
We are people of color, as were the other couples in line and the couple that waltzed past all of us with their ling & louie's cuisine were caucasian. I am not sure if this had anything to do with their lack of customer service and rude behavior but I will never go back to this restaurant again!
