Buyer Beware!
Purchased the Pantomine 2 Piece Sectional with RAF Cuddler [protected] in the Gilbert Az store. It was delivered 10-21-22 after backorder. If I would have know it was made in Vietnam I never would have purchased so my bad on that. The cuddler on the couch is where I might sit if on the couch. The fabric is so worn down on the cuddler cushion I'm afraid that it will have a rip, tear of hole soon. Only had this in my home for 9/12 months at this time but noticed few months back but just tried to smooth it out. I emailed them and sent pictures and they told me it's usual ware and tear and warranty won't cover. They mentioned that they can see the foam is wearing down from where we sit. I told them this is not unacceptable. I mentioned again that it's not the foam I'm concerned about (although I probably should) but that the fabric is deteriorating and looks like it's dethreading. If you look closely at the pictures and enlarge if needed you can see the fabric is wearing out.
I told them I would file a BB claim and maybe small claims court if it went to that. They replied back that since I've threatened them they would only talk to my lawyer and I would be put on their no buy list at AFW. HA!
I spent over $1500.00 with an ottoman and this is what you get, fabric from Vietman that won't last a year!
Desired outcome: I would like something done to correct this flaw
American Furniture Warehouse [AFW] - Replacement order and rude sales persons
On 9/3/20 my wife and I went to AFW to pick out furniture to replace the furniture we received 2 months ago. We found what we wanted and went looking for someone to help us. No one in sight. When we found someone, they paged Mr. Couch to help us again. They paged him 3 times, he never showed up. We waited 43 minutes. Finally they took us to check out where we had to deal with Kameron, Manager. He was not very friendly, never apologized for us having to wait or having to replace our furniture. We were with him for almost an hour. We also asked for another item, he never ordered it. By this time we ready to get out of the store. Now, and this is the worst part, we have to wait 2 months for our furniture. He couldn't even offer to get it from another store. Very bad experience. We have bought furniture there before, no problem. I want to call to see if we can get our furniture sooner, but I already know what the answer will be. The store we went to was in Gilbert, AZ We would really like to get our furniture sooner.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
