Carpet installed 12/27/2021 in less that a year has wear on it. 6 months to be exact. A carpet that we were told by sales man would not happen. The carpet is mashed down, wear in many areas, and just started to look bad. This should not be happening. The problem is we paid for a carpet that has wear in less than a year and we are told well it is mashed down and will not cover this issue after we had the carpet cleaned as requested, and had someone come out to review and now just received a letter this will not be covered under warranty. The Sales man point blank lied. Poor workmanship from start. I am going forward with complaints to the ROC/BBB/3 on your side/and anyone else I can complain to. This company was even mentioned by the manufacturer that they receive many complaints about Express Floorings unethical behavior. Buyer Beware. Joe Wierzbinskiwww.expressflooring.com
Desired outcome: I want the carpet and company to live up to the standards as indicated by Express Flooring sales department. They lied and don't guarantee or support their products.
Express Flooring - Flooring
Two weeks ago we had a sales from express flooring come, looks at the job, gave us the quote, and we accepted. They were suppose to start the project at 7 am today, the crew was here, six employee entered the home looked at the job, I assumed went out to start bring the tile in. One of the works came back, and said we don't know how to do the stairs, he said someone would be calling me, and he turned around and left. I started calling the business to find out what was going on. Each time I called they transferred me to a voicemail, I left a message each time saying what happened, and please call me back so we can figure out whats going on. I finally got to talk to Rosemary, installation manager, said asked me to send pictures of stairs, I did, no call back from her, I finally was able to get back ahold of he, and she said she would see if any of the crews could do this. The sales person who came to the house verified with someone on the phone, that the stairs would not be an issue. I took the week off of work to get this done, so not only am I losing my wages, bur the flooring is not getting done. I have read many articles about the owner Jerry, and I don't believe this is the business plan for Express flooring, I was told the customer, that does not seem true at this moment. Express Flooring - Tile installation
Demolition crew damaged furniture, baseboards and walls. Work started on 10-26-20. Customer service has been contacted numerous times. Severals promises by Brett, Service Managers to return call to me for restitution. He never returns calls. In addition carpet installers were to come to finish off existing carpet where it meets the new tile. I paid $15,600 for this job. I just want my furniture and house in the same shape it was in before these people caused damages. No invoice numbers.

Workers started 9/30 stripped floors
Never came back till 2nd week laid wood vinyl flooring. Never came back ..3rd week came back molding never installed cracked tiles in bathroom called many times to Bret and Mike who was very rude and could give a xxxx till this day work still has not been completed and I cannot get a estimate for when it will be... Looking for a great discount for taking plus 30 days to complete a 16x20 master bedroom

Express Flooring - Installation and excessive carpet wear. Rolls and waves in the carpet
We bought carpet from Express Flooring in January 2016. Recently we noticed excessive wear in high traffic areas, waves in the carpet, and the pad underneath the carpet crunches when you walk on it. We called customer service and they sent out a rep who said they would replace the pad and stretch the carpet . He was evasive when addressing the excessive wear and wouldn't commit to any redress on the wear. We made an appointment today 08/13/20 to have the pad replaced and the carpet stretched. We moved our bedroom furniture and the guys did not show up. We made multiple calls to Express Flooring with no answer, no response. We are unhappy with the product and the service with Express Flooring. Remember their little jingle. Well, Express Flooring is NOT the best, don't call 800 Express.

The problem is we paid for a carpet that has wear in less than a year and we are told well it is mashed down and is not under warranty. The Sales man point blank lied. Poor workmanship from start as they had to come back before to fix other things. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF !

Express Flooring - awful customer service
Express flooring was my first choice for getting new carpet. And when I filled out the free estimate form online I was pleased to get such a fast response from Heather Emerson (Phoenix, AZ) But after being put on hold immediately and then somehow I was transfered to another employee, Cassandra.
I was incredibly upset with how i was treated and how she wasn't listening to my requests what so ever. and when she went to scold one of her employees about how I was transfered to her ... she didn't even bother to place me on hold. I found her so unprofessional, I told her I would rather go through another company now. Shortly after hanging up the phone i received an email from Heather Emerson, I assumed and was hoping it as an apology, but it was actually an email Heather Emerson had sent out to her department and accidentaly sent to me...this is the email i received:

Was on the phone, put call on hold because other lines where ringing, Cassandra pick up the call when it rang back. We both think it was a kid because she sounded like she was 7 years old & she gave us different answers.

I am amazed at how careless, rude and unprofessional these employees were all because of my voice... I am VERY upset. My voice is something I can't change... I hope they don't treat everyone they speak to like this.
Express Flooring - High pressure sales approach
Contacted company for an in-home estimate on laminate flooring and ceramic tile. Salesman
claimed that he didn't know the thickness of their laminate flooring. This is basic
information when reviewing laminate flooring. Salesman took an inordinate amount
of time to take measurements and come up with an estimate. Spent a lot of time
talking up his product and "selling" us on his company! We simply wanted an
estimate! He also spent a lot of time on paperwork involving financing;
wanted us to sign an agreement before he left. When I was reluctant to
agree on a deal because the price was too high, he used all sorts of
fabricated stories to make me believe he could get me the flooring for
half of the amount he originally proposed. He was worse than any
used car salesman I have ever encountered! I also know he was
trying to sell us an inferior product, as I looked at laminate flooring
at Home Depot and Lowe's Home Center. Both of those stores sold
a superior product for less money than this salesman wanted for
his inferior product.
