My husband just rented a car from Fox…
My husband just rented a car from Fox Rent a Car at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. He was 17th in line to get his reserved car rental. The individual at the desk was very rude and tried charging for extras including demanding $150.00 deposit (no other car rental charges this), demanding my husband get extra insurance (which is covered by my husband's credit card), pay for half a tank of gas (less expensive to fill up before returning the car). In addition, he was on his mobile phone on a personal call while belittling my husband. My husband also noticed several cars where dented and scratched. He took several photos because he feels they will try and keep the "deposit". They lure individuals online with lower prices then try to charge for anything and everything. Run do not walk away from this company.

Fox Rent A Car - fox rental car

Our experience with fox was terrible...rented 11-11 veterans day..the next morning went to play ball..people told us tire making alot of noise...called fox and road service each refused to come out to check car or change it..I was told to take it to Firestone and they may or may not pay for Firestone..we're from Texas where the hell is Firestone..I told them I'm not taking it anywhere..they need to come out...road service and fox said that's your only option

.we had the car til the 15th and put 12. Of gas when returned...we didnt use the car to visit areas we planned on visiting...this is the worse experience...now are know we cannot count on fox..and we paid for all those days for nothing.

Fox Rent A Car - service

I had an issue with the tire pressure light being on, put air in it. Light stayed on, tried calling customer service to let them know the issue, they transferred me to another number. No one answered, I called back again and I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes, was left for call back. No one called back right away about my issue. I had to drive all the way back to the airport to switch cars. It took them over 4 hours to call back and I called early in thr morning. Once I returned the new rental, the info didn't transfer over that I could return the car on a half of tank of gas, plus the rep accused me of smoking marijuana in the car, which I don't smoke. Pretty insulting, so I had to speak to a manager, then at that time they were only trying to issue me a partial credit on my $150 deposit because the agreement for the first customer service person didn't transfer. Finally, I got a chance to speak with an Upper Management person for them to reverse the charge and give me a full credit for my deposit. It was a terrible experience, I will never rent from them.
