This place sucks to work at. The first week I started working there was when they started giving me trouble. I was invited by the lead supervisor to make suggestions to improve productivity. I thought I was qualified as I had just come there from Caremark after their Dec. layoff. I typed up a page of suggestions like a proposal. I was hoping to get a raise if something I suggested was implemented, saving the company money. They only started me at $10/hr. I turned it in. A week later, the shipping supervisor, a b**** named Mryna, pulled me into her office. Instead of taking it as constructive, she took the entire typed page as an insult to her company. She told me I had a bad attitude. She put me down so bad I cried on the spot. I went on with work hoping to avoid trouble. Things were ok for awhile. Then two months later, I was pulled into the office again. Another supervisor had always been flirting with me and I ignored him. This guy flirts with every girl there. He had told the shipping supervisor that he had seen me trying to fix something on the machine which requires a password, of which I don't possess the knowledge. The shipping supervisor informed me that they changed the password on account of me, which is ridiculous. I was given a final written warning. I was never even given my first warning. I told her that I was not messing with the machine but she didn't hear me. I was sent out of the office again. The written warning disqualified me of receiving a bonus check the next week. I was bummed. They were trying to find ways to fire me so I quit. I'm still seeking employment. My husband who still works there informed me that they are now trying to make changes to the sorting method, which is one of my suggestions on the typed page. Now that I'm not there they can't pay me for that idea. The next day my husband worked, he got written up along with some other co-workers for bogus things. It's again time for bonus checks the next week. They only promote immigrants at this place. They find ways not to give you your bonus check. Half the shippers have left. Morale is very low. They don't do anything about sexual discrimination. Don't apply to work here. If you know someone who wants to work at Express Scripts, tell them about what happened.

3rd time this year I have done without meds because of this company. They are so terrible to deal with. Stay away if you can. Most noncaring company I have ever had to deal with. Starting to feel withdrawals now after 2 days of not having it. I ordered a month ago, and again 12 days ago. So frustrated.
I worked there for two years. My coworkers were awesome. The management sucked. Im diabetic and one day I had low blood sugar. Was walked out with management saying we have no tolerance for drunks. Funny I do not drink but they would not listen to give me orange juice
this tells you what this company is all about

I should have known to run when the first week of training we were told that Express Scripts was a "for profit business" basically indicating that they were in it for the money and not to help people. I'm a helper, I always have been, so customer service has always been enjoyable and easy for me. It makes me happy to know that I've done something to make someone's day a little bit better. Express Scripts killed that for me for almost two years. I worked for their Work At Home virtual call center. I understand time restrictions, but I feel that if there is a situation that calls for a little extra time so someone can get their medication and hopefully maintain their health another day then they deserve that time and I'm going to give it to them. An insulin-dependent diabetic told me that he wasn't going to eat that day because their insurance wouldnt let them get their medicine due to it needing a prior authorization. No one should ever have to face that choice. Starve or die, they said.. that's what they had to do. Is this something I could handle in 6 minutes or less? Sure, if it hadn't been the weekend and the people I needed to talk to didn't work weekdays only. So what did I do? I went above and beyond, I took care of it, I received praise from that member and they received the care and service they deserved. It took an hour and a half. Obviously I knew that my supervisor would say something, a little slap on the wrist maybe.. but what I received from him instead was complete and total disrespect, attitude, and criticism in the least constructive way. I was made to feel as if what I had done was completely wrong and I should feel bad for it. I was belittled and made to feel stupid. I was told that "you know, helping the members is always our goal but you should never take that long to do it and you should have had them call tomorrow." Tomorrow? So when they were in the hospital? Or when their stomach was in knots and they feel like they want to vomit the stomach acid building up? When they felt like less of a person because they were trapped in their prescription insurance that didn't care about them? The words I heard that first week echoed in my head over and over and I felt helpless. Now, this is just one situation that I can use as an example. I was belittled and insulted by my supervisor many times before and after that for various reasons. Quite a few of those situations he was telling me processes that were completely incorrect and refused to admit his fault when I provided him the documents from their information system to prove it. When my equipment was faulty and I wasn't able to work for days at a time, every day that I'd call and do my check in he'd again speak to me as if I were a child being scolded. I didn't break their equipment. I didn't want to not work. I love helping people, why would I sit around all day feeling helpless? And even though their policy states that faulty equipment that wasn't damaged by me results in full payment for that day, he'd find some way for me to not receive all of my hours. Oh, and voluntary time off? Voluntary "give me a reason to make you feel like crap" time off. They begged us to take off the time when it was available and then during coaching sessions were asked a million questions about why we would take off so much time. I was fired after working for them for a year and 3 months. I had been seeing doctors and going to the emergency room for a chronic medical condition. I had doctors notes, my supervisor always told me they'd accept and excuse them, but that of course was a lie. My employment was terminated by them. I filed for unemployment, and I don't know why I expected that to work in my favor.. because it didn't. The days I had missed were sent to the unemployment office by Express Scripts.. and they included ALL of the "voluntary" time off that was always 100% excused and did not count toward out attendance in any way. They didn't differentiate between the two. So because of that it appeared as if I had missed a ton of work and I was at fault for the employment termination. It wasn't enough that they put me in the position of almost losing my home and the life that I worked so hard to gain after being in a homeless shelter. By this point I was so beaten down that I didn't even fight them. I gave up. That's what Express Scripts will do to you. They will kill your spirit and if you like to help people like I do, they'll kill that too.
As a former employee of this company, I agree w the other employee comments as well as the members. Worst job I've ever had! It sucked the life right out of me. I got in trouble every time I would do everything I could to help a member. I loved the members and will miss them. I don't regret how I lost my job. At least I can still look at myself in the mirror. Management will stab you in the back. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Members you do have a choice. Push the issue. Just say no to mail order.
I have express scripts nothing but problems with my meds being delivered on time ..I would move to another company but they force u to stay there and cant afford to go anywhere else..i have some calls into lawyers govt Cuomo and peter lopez I will not stand and do nothing about this..i am looking for a class action lawsuit against them ..anyone that wants to help let me know..this is disgusting they could kill me by not filling my meds ...
Express Scripts Management in Franklin Lakes, NJ, STILL wonders why NO employees showed up to work on Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the File Management Department and continue to blame mistakes and delays in filling prescriptions on this debacle. Sounds like a lame excuse to me. Everyone was probably on vacation. Three months have now passed. The company should just get over it.
I worked at the Director level for Express Scripts. The Senior Leadership of the company has fallen under the influence of Jack Welch and all of his management principles. Most notably, you need to constantly fire or lay off your "bottom 10%" every year. I worked for rogue Vice President out of St. Louis who basically fired me for not firing an employee that he thought was in his bottom 10%. This particular employee improved their performance after I mentored and coached them and put them into a more suitable position.
In addition, I helped save Express Scripts almost 1 million a year in saved expense. My reward was to get laid off right before Christmas. The same Vice President that I worked for was a swaggering ego maniac. He openly admitted to others the he himself lied about his salary when he joined the company years back. After I left Express Scripts, I logged an ethics issue against him on their "Ethics Hotline". Well, that was a joke. He still has a job and I know for a fact that other employees in "lesser positions" who did the same thing met with instant dimissal.
I agree with the other review from the former employee out of the Tempe, Arizona mega pharmacy. This company is a joke. I promise you, if you join Express Scripts (at any level), you will have "The Sword of Damacles" hanging over year head from the first day you start until the day you leave. AVOID WORKING AT THIS COMPANY!
This same thing happened to me in St Louis!
I was asked to give some reasons why moral is so low, and after I typed up a list, I was called into the supevisor's office and yelled at! I was told that I have a bad attitude!
I also did not receive my raise because of this!
Will not let me use my local pharmacy. I told them not to call me again and they are harrassing me with constant phone calls! They are awful to deal with. I will pay full price at my local pharmacy and not give them my business! Everyone else needs todo the same! Contact your drug maker and ask for discounts there!
