BioLife Plasma Services - Management
hello my complaint is against Biolife Plasma center in Tucson, Arizona on east Golflinks road my wife and myself have been donating plasma for over a year now twice a week at CSL plasma center we have had absolutely no problems what so ever with the staff in the year we've been donating but when Biolife Plasma came to town we wanted to give them a try plus the pay seemed to be a little better so we went there on February first at there grand opening which was ok plus you made more money for the first four months so we spent about an hour in a half getting acquainted with there procedures then we went back there on there actual opening day we had to take there physical and it was a mad house we were suppose to be there including the physical and donating plasma for three hours we ended up being there for well over six hours. which really wasn't a real big deal, so as of now we have seven in a half. hours invested in Biolife, so we've donated about a total of nine times so there's another ten hours invested in donating plasma to help people that needs it to help them out with there medical problems ok so the problem were having now is with the management which is supposeably Sabrina Orion when my wide went in to donate on Saturday February 29 th they [censored] your finger to take a blood sample to check your protein level and to make sure your well hydrated so when doing so they said she couldn't donate because her protein was to low so we left there went straight to CSL which is only ten minutes away from Biolife and she went in there and completed the same exact procedure and she passed and was able to donate. so i was in the car waiting and the wait time is approximately an hour so i was going though my emails while waiting and i received an email from Biolife with my appointment reminder for the following Tuesday March 3 rd so while i was reading the email i seen where if you had a question to contact them so i did so i really wasn't expecting a reply back from them bit i did receive a response from Sabrina Orion, so my question was how is it possible to go to another plasma center in only ten minutes without doing anything and pass there she said all there equipment is calibrated every morning before they use them and if there was an issue with them they would not have used them and i just asked that question and if there staff had enough training time with there equipment and she said she would check to see who checked her in, and is a matter of fact th week before that the same exact thing happened to me but i didn't go to CSL to donate so it just didn't seem right that we had both failed the protein test and in the year donating at CSL we never failed that test so here's the problem so on Tuesday March 3rd i went as scheduled and donated no problems what so ever i signed in at the kiosk went had my finger [censored]ed and donated. my wife went in on Thursday her regular donation day and had a lot of grief from the staff because she donated at at different place so after about an hour of getting the run around she donated. now this is where the big problem starts i went in for my second donation of the week went to the kiosk and proceeded to check in and it said i had to go to the front desk at talk to the staff so i did and to my big surprise they told me that i was not ever able to donate at there place again because of me asking them that question.which is totally very unprofessional of the management and i know it has to be against the law to ask questions regarding the procedure so i have a real good lawyer that im going to be contacting next week. and run this by him. so i really can't believe that this even happened so i want to thank you for your time and by the way my name is James Sipos email address is [protected]@gmail.com and by the way i still have the original email that i sent in asking the question and the response back from Sabrina Orion and her saying just be careful donating at two different companies to make sure we don't donate more then the two times allowable in the seven day policy and she looks forward to seeing me donating at there location and then i get permanently deferred now someone please tell me how professional that is .once again thank you for your time.
Over hour and half from appointment time and still not hooked up and others come after me from other sections getting hooked up before me that not right. Very long line just to get to screening took 45 minutes and now sitting waiting appointment at 11:15 and it is 12:30 waiting to get hooked up and draw
