let's start off with on boarding process that I didn't know was a problem until after I started attending. It was failed to be mentioned that not everything your told as far as what you will learn will be at an addition cost for all kits outside of the school kit, for example: eye lash course (that you will need additional certification for after becoming a licensed esthetician) Tanning, that is not on form but verbal told we will learn, chemical peels (also another certification after school) and brow tinting/lamination.

I have had the pleasure of meeting all esthetic teachers and have learned that the school provides the books, but it is up to you to read and learn the material yourself. one of 4 teachers has provided review packets and even at that only a portion would be reviewed as a class. We have guest speakers and demos, and this is where we learn most of our education, the teachers here do demos and then allow us to practice on one another. Ms. brook has been the most informative when demonstrating a demo, if she doesn't know the answer will find out but very unorganized and this can become frustrating.

Ms. Debra is both nice and abrupt and when asked a question she sometimes knows the answer. She gave a demo on s sugar body scrub and when asked questions she told us we can google or contact product manufacture.

Michelle from day one has always been passive aggressive and speaks in a condescending manner to majority of people around her. If you ask her a question she will give you a confident answer, but never willingly sharing knowledge giving the impression she wants to be the only one who's knows anything, although she may be confident in answering a question the expression on her face is if she annoyed sometimes stating "oh your cute" in a way of making you feel your dumb.

She does make it known she has favorites and students have a hard time wanting to participate in fiend trips that are poorly planned and sprung on to us in most case day of, in one case the entire class stated they did not want to go to a phx trip due to drive, money lack of school approved hours what will be allowed and Michelle made comments the day after like"you guys don't have money for a field trip but have money to go to Starbucks." Kevin our District Manager came in one day and she was more worried about creating a commercial to present to him then doing a big theory that we never received. This day she made it clear to the class that she had full control over our grades. This was hard for a lot of us to take in considering this is a teacher who hardly dresses business casual, shows off her boobs when we do have guest speakers, carries around a drinking container that has writing on it that states "I'm a slut". The profanity allowed in this classroom not only by Michelle but by what she allows from the students gives a very unsettling feeling this has been brought up to Lesha the director here and hasn't gotten any better that could be because most of the time when we are looking for Michelle she is usually in Ms. Lesha office.

We are not in our final module and every third day of the week we are supposed to be studying for state board with Ms. Marissa very sweat person but also lacks knowledge and had given us a packet to study that was created by a previous teacher Ms. Hailey. We were told this packet is incomplete and has nothing to do with our exit exam, come to find out that this is an unlicensed educator going through training and that is why Hailey will come onto site when upper management is here, leaving students unprepared and confused as to what the material placed Infront of us is, is it our exit exam? is this practice for state board? We have a test coming on Wednesday and so we are studying a little of everything because this teacher is unsure.
