This is the first Red Roof hotel that I ever check in. My first impression is the place isn't that bad and looks decent.
Once I checked in the room, the first thing that I noticed was no bed blanket, just the bed sheets. I carried my personal items into my room and checked around the room. I could not believe that I had found three spiders on the upper corner ceiling (one in a bedroom, one in the bathroom, and the dressing room). Then I glanced at the front entry door jambs, all the way around the sunlight shined through. No wonder why the spiders and insects got in. I made a complaint to the front desk and they gave me another room.
I was walking on my bare foot in the room and right away I noticed that my feet were black. I said to myself if the floor was filthy. I got toilet paper and dampened it to wipe the floor. I could not believe in my own eyes how filthy the floor was. It grossed me out and the floor was so disgusting. I showered and used my flip-flop shoes to walk from one room to the other room. I took pictures of the floor with crumbled dirt, hair, and food. So disgusting! I checked the toilet seat and there were some poop smears and pee spots. Luckily, I brought my own sanitizing wipes to clean it. I disinfected everything. The towels, wash cloths, and floor towels were not bleached. You could see stained towels like grease, oil, and hard soil. I had to use my own towels from there on. I couldn't use their towels anymore. I couldn't download pictures because it is limited to 5MG.
Desired outcome: Full refund.
Red Roof Inn - Hotel stay conditions
We stayed at the Red Roof inn in Williams Arizona from 12/27-12/30. When we arrived and went to our room on the bottom floor it smelled so strong like Cigarettes. I went back to the lobby to ask for another room because I had reserved non smoking.
We were assigned room 226. The room didn't look like the way it was advertised in the website. The restroom and other parts of the room were nothing like the modern room in the website. It was so disappointing. Once we had unpacked I noticed the phone was not working, the sheets were dirty and had stains. The toilet paper dispenser was broken and the floors were sticky.
The property was dirty and there was trash all over the floor and it was not cleaned in the 3 days of our stay.
In addition, the ice machine didn't work. I took pictures of there hotel condition to show the poor quality of this location. I would like to request a refund or partial refund due to this bad experience. I don't want a credit towards another stay. Thank you in advance for your help.
